Required prior and related subjects: Basics of metrology and measuring technology - Digital electronic units of measuring equipment
Summary of the subject: Preparation of students for engineering activities by understanding proven ways of selecting or developing measuring systems; the task is to study the basic principles of sensor construction, familiarization with the level of physical phenomena that underlie the functioning of various sensors, which make it possible to register the researched processes. Getting to know the basics: -Scheme of replacing Information about Phenomena in a person with Impressions and Actions - Language of Metrology - Perception of Oral Scientific Language: Strategies for Understanding Meaningful Information Even a cursory look at the problem of perception and understanding of scientific language allows us to conclude that this process is significantly different from the process of perception and understanding of everyday language. The differences are touching not only strategies for mastering language products that differ in subject content, involvement in the process of processing multi-vector connections of information. When perceiving everyday language the listener mainly uses his individual internal lexicon, the units of which are words, phrases, language stereotypes and language cliches, patterns of word combinations and sentences, which in the process of perception are connected to each other in verbal networks/links. When perceiving scientific language the listener uses connections of higher complexity, operating with "bundles of meanings". Therefore, it plays a huge role in the perception process scientific language and/(as well as) recognition of terms has individual experience and cognitive (knowledge) base of the listener. Examples of successful transmission (that is, perception/assimilation) of information there is an increase in the speed and productivity of term recognition under the influence of previously learned relevant experience, the phenomenon of "instant insight/enlightenment" of the listener, the ability to think (and perceive a complex scientific text) "similarly"/(i.e. by analogy) etc. *General modeling problems Like all tools and methods, models can lead to errors. The effectiveness of the model can be reduced by the action of a number of potential interferences. *The Decision Tree is a graphic diagram of what choice the decision will lead us to in the future. *Stages of Creating Measuring Instruments. Mapping the Process up to the Creation of the Measured Part. *Specifics of Measuring Physical Quantities in the Nanometer Range. *Precursors (harbingers): Cosmolift *nanothermometry, *Research of sensors, converters of physical quantities and actuators built using the achievements of nanotechnology in information and measurement technology *Metamaterials
