Мета вивчення дисципліни: Formation of a system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding: analyzing the essence and management system of the competitiveness of various objects; diagnosing and forming a strategy to increase their international competitiveness; analysis of the European environment and policies, determinants of EU competitiveness; diagnostics of competitiveness in the European context at different levels (global, continental, regional, country, industry, business), as a basis for the further development of a global competitive strategy; strengthening the EU's strategic competitive advantages, European sustainable competitive development, taking into account the role of candidate countries and EaP countries.
Завдання: Study of an educational discipline involves the formation of these competencies: general competencies: ZK1. Ability to conduct research at the appropriate level; ZK6. Ability to generate new ideas (creativity); ZK7. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. special (professional, subject) competencies of the specialty: SK2. Ability to establish values, vision, mission, goals and criteria by which the organization determines further directions of development, develop and implement appropriate strategies and plans.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying this academic discipline, a student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. In-depth knowledge of the theoretical and conceptual principles of managing the competitiveness of various objects, primarily in the European dimension. 2. In-depth knowledge of the toolkit of systemic formation of competitive advantages and factors ensuring the international competitiveness of goods, enterprises, industries, regions, countries, in particular the EU. 3. In-depth knowledge of the European environment, policies and principles aimed at increasing the competitiveness of its enterprises, industries, regions, and the EU as a whole. 4. Ability to diagnose the competitiveness, in particular international, of goods, enterprises, industries, regions, countries on the example of the EU. 5. Ability to make informed management decisions regarding the effective management of international competitiveness, systematically form and implement international competitiveness strategies of various objects, in particular in the EU. As a result of the study of this academic discipline, a student of should be able to demonstrate the following program learning results: 1. PRN7. Organize and carry out effective communications within the team, with representatives of various professional groups and in an international context; 2. PRN9. Ability to communicate in professional and scientific circles in national and foreign languages. 3. PRNS 2. Research the EU markets, carry out comparative and analytical monitoring of competitors, strategically plan, diagnose and increase the competitiveness of the EU. 4. COM1. Summary of the subject: Content and structure of the discipline reflect the main provisions related to the acquisition by students of systemic knowledge in the field of ensuring the competitiveness of the European Union, as well as the acquisition of skills for their practical use. Therefore, it will maximally contribute to students' mastery of theoretical knowledge and practical skills obtained at lectures and practical classes in the discipline. At the same time, the key goal of studying the discipline is the development of students' practical abilities and skills in analyzing the essence and management system of the competitiveness of various objects; diagnosing and forming a strategy to increase their international competitiveness; analysis of the European environment and policies, determinants of EU competitiveness; diagnostics of competitiveness in the European context at different levels (global, continental, regional, country, industry, business), as a basis for the further development of a global competitive strategy; strengthening the EU's strategic competitive advantages; promoting European sustainable competitive development, taking into account the role of candidate countries and EaP countries.

Examination control includes written (50 points) and oral components (20 points).

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: A student can receive points at each practical lesson. All the obtained points are added up by a teacher and form a final grade. Assessment is carried out in accordance with the Regulation "On the organization and conduct of current and semester control of students' learning results", approved by the rector of Lviv Polytechnic on August 30, 2018. Evaluation is carried out according to institutional 100-point scale: 88-100 - "excellent"; 71-87 - "good"; 50-70 - "satisfactory"; 26-49 – "not certified"; 00-25 - "not certified" - rating "unsatisfactory". Level of knowledge is set as follows: A - "excellent" (88-100 points). B - "good" (80-87 points). C - "good" (71-79 points). D - "satisfactory" (61-70 points). E - "satisfactory" (50-60 points). FX - "unsatisfactory". F - "unsatisfactory".

Мета вивчення дисципліни: Formation of a system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding: analyzing the essence and management system of the competitiveness of various objects; diagnosing and forming a strategy to increase their international competitiveness; analysis of the European environment and policies, determinants of EU competitiveness; diagnostics of competitiveness in the European context at different levels (global, continental, regional, country, industry, business), as a basis for the further development of a global competitive strategy; strengthening the EU's strategic competitive advantages, European sustainable competitive development, taking into account the role of candidate countries and EaP countries.
Завдання: Study of an educational discipline involves the formation of these competencies: general competencies: ZK1. Ability to conduct research at the appropriate level; ZK6. Learning outcomes: As a result of studying this academic discipline, a student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. In-depth knowledge of the theoretical and conceptual principles of managing the competitiveness of various objects, primarily in the European dimension. 2. In-depth knowledge of the toolkit of systemic formation of competitive advantages and factors ensuring the international competitiveness of goods, enterprises, industries, regions, countries, in particular the EU. 3. In-depth knowledge of the European environment, policies and principles aimed at increasing the competitiveness of its enterprises, industries, regions, and the EU as a whole. 4. Ability to diagnose the competitiveness, in particular international, of goods, enterprises, industries, regions, countries on the example of the EU. 5. Ability to make informed management decisions regarding the effective management of international competitiveness, systematically form and implement international competitiveness strategies of various objects, in particular in the EU. Summary of the subject: Content and structure of the discipline reflect the main provisions related to the acquisition by students of systemic knowledge in the field of ensuring the competitiveness of the European Union, as well as the acquisition of skills for their practical use. Therefore, it will maximally contribute to students' mastery of theoretical knowledge and practical skills obtained at lectures and practical classes in the discipline. At the same time, the key goal of studying the discipline is the development of students' practical abilities and skills in analyzing the essence and management system of the competitiveness of various objects; diagnosing and forming a strategy to increase their international competitiveness; analysis of the European environment and policies, determinants of EU competitiveness; diagnostics of competitiveness in the European context at different levels (global, continental, regional, country, industry, business), as a basis for the further development of a global competitive strategy; strengthening the EU's strategic competitive advantages; promoting European sustainable competitive development, taking into account the role of candidate countries and EaP countries.
