Learning outcomes: As the studies results, student has: • know: principles, functions and procedures for of designing of logistics systems; management techniques in designing logistics systems; methodology for the project approach to the formation and development of logistics systems company; requirements for planning decisions; main stages of the logistics infrastructure systems; regional aspects of integrated logistics systems; principles, functions and methods of operation of logistics systems; methods of optimization of logistics systems and implementation of project solutions. • to be able to: the structure of the logistics system in accordance with market conditions to determine; formulate economic goals and objectives of the logistics sub-systems; physical and market limit of logistics system to determine; follow certain procedures when planning logistics systems at macro, meso and micro levels; determine the locations logistic objects; harmonize capacities objects of logistics system; organize the value chain at different levels; apply the project approach to the formation and development of enterprise logistics system; organize project team and its interaction with stakeholders; develop a business plan for the logistics system and economically justify a form of investment.

Summary of the subject: Determinants of logistics systems. The concept of logistics system, its properties, classification of logistics systems. Methodological bases for analysis and synthesis of logistics systems. Life cycle and mode of operation of the logistics system. Methodological principles of designing logistics systems. A generalized procedure for of designing of logistics systems. Infrastructure and choice of locations of logistics facilities in logistics range. Definition and harmonization of logistics capabilities. Features of the organization and design of internal systems. Design value chain. Design of integrated logistics systems. Project management for the development and implementation of logistics systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current control (30 %): review of case studies, work during practical classes, oral questioning; • final control (70%, examination): tests.

Learning outcomes: As the studies results, student has: • know: principles and procedures for of designing of logistics centers; methodology for the localization logistics center; methods of calculate the area of logistics center; types of rack equipment and machinery; methods of optimization of logistics systems; queuing theory; key performens indicators of the logistics center. • to be able to: localization of logistics center are determined; describe the logistics system of center by assignment; calculate the area of logistics center; to create a project; calculate the number of service channels; calculate of the need for transport to warehouse equipments; calculate of key performens indicators of the logistics center; do conclusions and recommendations.

Summary of the subject: Research logistics infrastructure and determine of localization of logistics center. Characteristics of the logistic system of logistics center. Calculate the total area of logistics centers. Calculating the number of service channels. Project logistics center. Calculation of the need for transport to warehouse equipments. Calculation of key performens indicators of the logistics center. Conclusions and recommendations.
