Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the educational discipline "Transnational Corporations" is to acquire the theoretical knowledge of classical postulates and modern trends in the formation and development of transnational corporations and practical skills to constructively solve specific professional tasks in this field using classical and innovative theories and tools.
Завдання: The study of the discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: integral competence: ability to solve complex specialized problems and practical problems that are characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions in the field of management or in the process of learning that involves the application of theories and methods of social and behavioral sciences; general сompetences: GC1. The ability to learn, absorb the acquired knowledge in the subject area, and integrate it with existing ones. GC2. Ability to be critical and self-critical to understand the factors that have a positive or negative impact on communication, and the ability to identify and take into account these factors in specific communication situations. GC6. Ability to solve tasks and make appropriately informed decisions. GC7. Ability to research the appropriate level, have research skills that are manifested in the ability to form (making presentations or presenting reports) new products in the chosen field, and choose appropriate areas and appropriate methods for their implementation, taking into account available resources. GC8. Ability to work independently and in a team and communicate with colleagues in the field of scientific achievements, both at the general level and at the level of specialists. GC9. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of the profession. GC10. Ability to work in an international context. GC11. Ability to think abstractly, analyze and synthesize, which allows to formulate conclusions (diagnosis) for different types of complex management tasks, plan, analyze, monitor, and evaluate their work and the work of others. professional competences: PC3. Basic knowledge of basic regulations and reference materials, current standards and specifications, instructions, and other regulations in the field of management. PC5. Ability to apply professional knowledge and practical skills to solve typical management problems. professional competences of a professional direction: PCO1.2. Ability to apply the necessary knowledge to work at the grassroots level of management in the linear and functional units of organizations of various forms of ownership and organizational and legal forms to work in public authorities, local governments. PCO3.1. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the theoretical and applied principles of various types of foreign economic activity and technology of their implementation, international business, and customs. PCO3.2. Ability to implement the management processes of foreign economic activity based on management functions, the formation of management methods, development of management decisions, management. PCO4.1. Ability to implement the processes of customs management based on management functions, the formation of management methods, development of management decisions, management. PCO4.2. Ability to ensure interaction between the subjects of foreign economic activity and customs authorities, carry out customs clearance of goods, persons, and vehicles, and provide information and documentary support of international credit and currency operations activities.
Learning outcomes: 1. Advanced knowledge of the theory of multinational corporations in order to systematize the theoretical principles of their functioning. 2. In-depth knowledge of the legal regulation of transnational corporations. 3. In-depth knowledge of the role of transnational corporations in international economic relations, modern speakers, features regional and sectoral structure of investment and production activities of TNCs and investment impact of TNCs on the competitiveness of national economies. 4. The ability to make better decisions in the conduct of international business and implementation of state to supranational regulation of investment activities of TNCs. 5. Ability to analyze the impact of multinationals on the competitiveness of Ukraine.

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Transnational Corporations" is aimed at forming in students a comprehensive understanding of the essence and peculiarities of the functioning of transnational corporations, the formation of systemic knowledge in the field of transnationalization of the international economy, and the acquisition of skills in their practical use. The main goal is the development of students' practical abilities and skills in the field of activities of transnational corporations, in particular, regarding the implementation of investment, financial operational activities, management of labor resources; currency risk and development of skills in the use of international settlement forms, drawing up payment and settlement balances and providing an economic interpretation of the obtained results.
Опис: TNC as the subject of the world economy. Theories of foreign direct investment and multinational corporations. Economic mechanism multinationals. Finance multinationals. Formulation and implementation of strategies of multinationals. Marketing strategies of TNCs. Transnational alliances. Supranational regulation of TNCs. TNC system of modern international investment. Geostrategic orientations of investment trends. TNCs in international economic activity.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (100%): express oral tests 30%, presentations 50%, individual scientific task 20%.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The institutional 100-point scale carries out the assessment of learning outcomes and student achievements: 88-100 points - certified with a grade of "excellent"; 71-87 points - certified with a grade of "good"; 50-70 points - certified with a grade of "satisfactory"; 26-49 - "not certified"; 00-25 points - "not certified" - grade "unsatisfactory".
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: The current control consists of an oral survey at lectures and practical classes (10 points), written solutions to test exercises and situational tasks in the National Emergency Service (10 points); preparation of presentations, reports and performances (30 points); preparation and defending 2 control works (maximum score for each - 20 points); performance of an individual research task (10 points).
