Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the discipline is to acquaint students with the key characteristics of national cultures and their influence on management processes; with the peculiarities of communication in intercultural teams, the basics of business ethics when conducting business negotiations and business in foreign markets
Завдання: General competences: ZK 4. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. ZK 5. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. ZK 9. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. professional competences: FC 1. Ability to define and describe the characteristics of the organization. FC 4. The ability to determine the functional areas of the organization and the connections between them. FC 5. The ability to manage the organization and its divisions through the implementation of management functions.
Learning outcomes: • ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the peculiarities of national cultures and their impact on management processes; • ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the theoretical and applied principles of communication processes with representatives of different nationalities and cultures; • ability to demonstrate profound knowledge in the field of business ethics; • Ability to eliminate international barriers in communication, to resolve conflict situations.

Summary of the subject: The discipline is studied through lectures and practical classes. The discipline reveals the modern theoretical foundations of cross-cultural management, including national management, allows you to acquire practical skills of business etiquette and conducting international negotiations.
Опис: Cross-cultural management: the essence and requirements of the present. Cross-cultural competencies. Types of communications and typical communication mistakes. Concept of cultural shock and its definition in practice. Elements of business culture. Gerda Hofstede culture model . Features of national business cultures. Influence of national culture on organization management (basic models of corporate culture and their management features in the framework of Fons Tropenaans).
Assessment methods and criteria: current control: laboratory work (40%); exam: exam paper (60%)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Evaluation of the student's learning results and achievements is carried out according to the institutional 100-point scale: 88-100 points - certified with the grade "excellent"; 71-87 points - certified with a grade of "good"; 50-70 points - certified with a "satisfactory" rating; 26-49 – "not certified"; 00-25 points - "not certified" - rating "unsatisfactory".
