Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of mastering the discipline "Information systems and technologies in organization management" is the formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the following issues: general management of the enterprise and its structural divisions based on the use of new information technologies and systems; development, adoption and implementation of management decisions based on the use of information systems; the use of modern information systems and technologies in the management of enterprises in accordance with the educational and qualification program for the training of specialists.
Завдання: 1. The ability to solve complex tasks and problems in the field of management or in the learning process, which involve conducting research and/or implementing innovations under uncertain conditions and requirements. 2. Skills in using information and communication technologies. 3. Ability to use psychological technologies for working with personnel. 4. The ability to apply the acquired in-depth knowledge of classical and modern theoretical-methodological and methodological-applied management bases of organizations of various types of economic activity and administration. 5. The ability to apply the acquired knowledge and understanding of business resource provision, which are the basis of a sufficient and necessary amount of tangible and intangible assets, intellectual capital, financial and informational resources. 6. The ability to use modern software and information and communication support in the field of management of organizations of various types of activity. 7. Ability to develop electronic business systems, integrate their tools into organizational and production structures, develop business processes of the organization.
Learning outcomes: Learning Outcomes: 1. Have the skills to make, justify and ensure the implementation of management decisions in unpredictable conditions, taking into account the requirements of current legislation, ethical considerations and social responsibility. 2. Organize and carry out effective communications within the team, with representatives of various professional groups and in an international context. 3. The ability to use professionally profiled knowledge and practical skills in management, marketing, finance, logistics, economics for effective management of business entities in the market economy. 4. Make well-founded strategic marketing decisions, combine various economic and mathematical methods and models of planning, organizing and evaluating the effectiveness of the economic activity of enterprises and organizations. 5. Work in an e-commerce environment and shape e-commerce supply chains. 6. Management of complex actions or projects, responsibility for decision-making in unpredictable conditions. Teaching and learning methods: - lecture and laboratory classes: information-receptive method; reproductive method; heuristic method; problem statement method. - independent work: reproductive method. Methods of evaluating the achievement of learning outcomes: - during current control: selective oral quiz; interpretation of the results of the performed laboratory work, tests, assessment of activity, submitted proposals, original solutions, etc.; - exam - written quiz, test control.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisite: Electronic commerce; Business administration; Co-requisites: Supply management in electronic business.
Summary of the subject: The discipline "Information systems and technologies in organization management" is a holistic concept of conducting modern business based on advanced organizational principles and the capabilities of modern information technologies. To achieve the specified effects, there is a whole complex of different strategies, concepts, methods and technologies, various combinations of which can significantly increase the efficiency of electronic business in various sectors of the economy. The teaching of the discipline covers a number of the following areas: introduction to information systems in organization management; stages of development and essence of information systems in organization management; typology of information systems in the management of organizations; planning the development of management information systems; management of information systems in the organization; management decision support systems; corporate information systems; information resources of the global Internet network; security of information systems.
Опис: The growing role of information and communication networks. Patterns of development of information and communication systems. Functional content of the management information system. Management of the development of management information systems. International classification of information systems for managing internal production and economic activities of the organization. Market of software for business activities of organizations. Formation of the organization's internal information infrastructure. Information resources of the global Internet network. Organization of electronic business. Security of information and communication systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control: individual tasks, analytical reports based on the results of laboratory workshops, oral s quiz, testing (40%); - final control (60%, control measure, exam): written-oral form.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The main criteria characterizing the student's level of competence when evaluating the results of the current and final examinations are following: - performance of all types of educational work provided for by the work program for the discipline; - the depth and nature of knowledge of the educational material according to the content of the educational discipline contained in the main and additional recommended professional sources; - the ability to analyze the studied phenomena in their relationship and development; - the nature of the answers to the questions (clarity, brevity, logic, consistency, etc.); - the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; - the ability to analyze the reliability of the obtained results. The amount of points that a student can receive in one semester from an academic discipline consists of points awarded to him for mastering content modules, within lectures and practical classes, performing individual and independent work and during all types of control. The applied method of distribution and calculation of points is regulated and corresponds to the Regulation on the organization and conduct of current and semester monitoring of the results of education of students of the Lviv Polytechnic National University.
