Мета вивчення дисципліни: The goal of education for students of the discipline "Informatics" is acquiring knowledge about the structure and principles of functioning of computers and information systems in the economy and business, about information modeling as a means of learning and researching objects in the fields of economy and economic activity, about modern information and communication technologies (ICT) for processing economic information and various data structures, about data processing processes, including their creation, storage, conversion, forwarding, search, visualization and protection; about the principles of organizing and conducting computing experiments using modern software, in particular, text editors, electronic spreadsheets, database management systems, network tools.
Завдання: he task of the academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: General: ZK05. Skills in using information and communication technologies. ZK08. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. Special (professional): SK06. Ability to use modern information and software for obtaining and processing data in the field of finance, banking and insurance.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying іtudents must be able to use specialized information systems, modern financial technologies and software products: - have the skills and abilities necessary for work with information technologies of office purpose, in particular, to work out business text documentation, to perform calculations in spreadsheets, to create and maintain databases, to create manager presentations, to search the information on the Internet; - to know the structure of data in computer science and methods of their processing, in particular, the methods of data visualization; - to know the possibilities and appointments of modern information systems in the fields of economics, finance and banking, expert systems, technologies of work in local computer networks, cloud technologies on the Internet, educational video services, means of distance and mobile learning and self-education; - have the concept of information modeling and object-oriented modeling and designing; - to be able to explore models of educational, cognitive and professional appointment in the problems of economics, finance and banking, in particular, using visual design environments.

Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Informatics" studies the means of modern information and communication technologies for the creation, storage, transformation, forwarding, search, visualization and protection of various data structures, for the construction of mathematical models and the solution of educational, cognitive and professional problems that arise with the help of ICT in various areas of the economy, in particular, tasks of record keeping, financial analysis and econometrics, as well as tasks of creating and managing databases.
Опис: The concept of information and data. The concept of modern computer operating systems, computer software of economist, manager and office worker workplace: text editors, spreadsheets, databases, presentations. Technologies of information modeling and designing, methods and means of data processing and visualization. Internet technology in education and economics.
Assessment methods and criteria: It is necessary to perform thirteen laboratory works and two calculation and graphic works. Diagnostics of students' knowledge is carried out with the help of an oral survey in laboratory classes, control and independent tests, defense of calculation and graphic works, and an exam.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Laboratory works - 34 points, Two calculation and graphic works - 16 points, Exam - 50 points. Total - 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
