Мета вивчення дисципліни: The goal of studying the discipline "Macroeconomics" is to learn the fundamentals based on the principles of functioning and development of the national economy as a whole familiarization with the main macroeconomic theories, concepts and models, substantiated by modern economic science.

Learning outcomes: 1. Knowledge and understanding of scientific and mathematical principles that lie at the heart of the State and economic analysis; 2. Understanding the tools and strategies for market analysis, the operation of private enterprises and public organizations; 3. Knowledge of the current state of affairs in the development of the State, regions, local communities, and skills for their improvement, taking into accounts the principles of international cooperation; 4. The possession of sufficient knowledge of influence factors in the decision-making process in public, economic, social and ecological context;

Summary of the subject: -Macroeconomic indicators of economic activity in the system of national accounts, macroeconomic instability, consumption, savings and investments; -Macroeconomic Analysis: aggregate demand and aggregate, macroeconomic equilibrium, the total expenditure and economic equilibrium, macroeconomic model IS-LM; -Fiscal policy, budget deficits and public debt, financial markets, money and banking, the mechanism of monetary policy, the international aspects of the national economy, the mechanism of foreign economic policy, problems of economic development of the modern world.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: - A - the grade "excellent" (88-100 points) is awarded for deep knowledge of the educational material, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied, in their relationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically and consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical ones position when solving practical problems; - B - the grade "good" (80-87 points) is awarded for good knowledge of the educational material, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; - C - grade "good" (71-79 points) is awarded for good knowledge of the educational material, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions that, however, they contain certain (insignificant) inaccuracies, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; - D - grade "satisfactory" (61-70 points) is given for mediocre knowledge of the educational material, poorly reasoned answers, weak application of theoretical provisions for solving practical problems; - E - grade "satisfactory" (50-60 points) is given for weak knowledge of the subject material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of its sequence teaching, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical ones tasks; - FХ - grade "unsatisfactory" with the possibility of retaking the exam (26-49 points) is issued for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; - F - grade "unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study of the module (study disciplines) (00-25 points) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material, significant mistakes in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions of the discipline.
