SC01. Ability to study trends in economic development using the tools of macro- and microeconomic analysis, to assess current economic phenomena.
SC03. Ability to diagnose the state of financial systems (public finance, including budget and tax systems, business finance, household finance, financial markets, banking system and insurance).
Learning outcomes: PLO01. To know and understand economic categories, laws, causal and functional relationships that exist between processes and phenomena at different levels of economic systems.
PLO02. To know and understand the theoretical foundations and principles of financial science, features of the functioning of financial systems.
PLO03. To determine the features of the functioning of modern world and national financial systems and their structure.
PLO 10. Identify sources and understand the methodology of determining and methods of obtaining economic data, collect and analyze the necessary financial information, calculate indicators that characterize the state of financial systems.

Summary of the subject: Microeconomics is one of the components of modern economic theory - the fundamental science of economics. Microeconomics studies the decision-making mechanism and principles of economic behavior of individual economic units (households, firms), markets of individual goods, etc. The study of this discipline allows you to understand the economic relationships between these economic entities and economic structures, to determine their place and role in the processes taking place.
Studying the course "Microeconomics" will provide the ability to identify features and analyze the activities of the firm in different market structures, to use these features in decision-making by individual economic entities in order to achieve optimal results of economic activity.
Within the framework of the course "Microeconomics" the basic principles of market functioning are studied: demand, supply, pricing mechanism; features of firm behavior in conditions of perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly and monopolistic competition; resource markets and features of pricing on them taking into account competition; conditions and factors of equilibrium in individual markets and general equilibrium; the role of the state, taking into account the efficiency of individual markets.

- solving situational problems, tasks;
- writing of current control works;
- performance of laboratory work;
- performance of calculation and graphic work.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - ("excellent") is assigned for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the component's educational material contained in the main and additional recommended literature sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena studied in their interconnection and development, clearly, concisely, logically, consistently answer the questions posed, the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 87-71 points - ("good") is assigned for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 70 - 50 points - ("satisfactory") is assigned for poor knowledge of the educational material of the component, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for poor application of theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of repeating the semester control) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate while solving practical problems, ignorance of the basic fundamental provisions.
