Завдання: The study of the discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies:
General:
- the ability to learn, perceive the acquired knowledge in the subject area and integrate it with the already existing knowledge;
- the ability to be critical and self-critical to understand the factors that have a positive or negative impact on the management of employees and the ability to identify and take into account these factors in specific managerial situations;
- the ability to generate new ideas, be creative and think systematically;
- the ability to search for and analyze information from multiple sources;
- the ability to effectively apply different leadership theories in practice;
- the ability to solve problems and make appropriate, informed decisions;
- the ability to conduct research at an appropriate level, have research skills that are demonstrated in the ability to form (making presentations or presenting reports) new products in a particular field, choose appropriate lines of action and appropriate methods of their implementation, taking into account the available resources;
- the ability to work independently and in a team and to communicate with colleagues at both a general and a professional level;
- the knowledge and understanding of the subject area and the understanding of the speciality;
- the ability to work in an international context;
Professional:
- Basic knowledge of the basic sciences, to the extent necessary to master the general professional disciplines;
- the ability to use professional knowledge and practical skills in management, marketing, finance, logistics, and economy for effective management of business entities in a market economy;
- Basic knowledge of the main normative-legal acts and reference materials, current standards and technical specifications, instructions and other normative-administrative documents in the field of management;
- the ability to investigate cause-and-effect relations, analyze and summarize external and internal management information for planning, organizing, motivating employees and supervising the activity of subordinates in the subdivisions of enterprises and organizations;
- ability to apply professional-specific knowledge and practical skills for solving typical management tasks;
- the ability to understand and consider economic, political, and social aspects affecting the formation of current and future management decisions.
Learning outcomes: As a result of the study discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes:
1. Knowledge of theory, methodology, and practice of the necessary leadership qualities for enterprise management needs.
2. Knowledge and understanding of theoretical, methodological and practical principles of organizing teamwork to achieve enterprise goals.
3. Understanding the essence of leadership and peculiarities of leadership qualities in enterprise management.
4. Ability to develop managerial skills and apply techniques and methodologies for effectively managing problem situations.
5. Ability to apply leadership skills in the implementation of new projects, as well as to motivate the staff.

Опис: Theoretical foundations of the leadership phenomenon
The phenomenon of leadership. Leadership and twenty-first-century companies. Management and leadership: changing values. Manager and leader: common and different. Theories of leadership and the historical stages of its formation. The LPI model of leadership. The idea of 'great men'. The situational theory of leadership. Transformational theory of leadership.
Assessing competencies in leadership.
Employee competencies: the essence and types. The Spencer Brothers competence model (the "Iceberg" model). Assessment as a competency assessment method. Psychogeometry as a leadership tool. Diagnostics of metaprograms.
Leadership that is based on motivation.
Grade system of job evaluation and pay. Use of key performance indicators (KPI). Intangible forms of motivation.
A model of leadership in a new environment.
Effective leadership in the induction phase of a new team. The relationship between the favourite and the new group. Ineffective leadership in contemporary project management.
Adaptation and integration of personnel as a leadership tool.
Personnel adaptation as a leadership tool. Adaptation objectives and adaptation tools. Welcome-training. Welcome-letter. Teambuilding is a tool for integrating the staff based on leadership.
Teamwork and tools for its implementation based on leadership.
Modern management theories and the culture of individualism Effectiveness and efficiency of companies in the XXI century. PAEI model.
Time management as a leadership tool
Time management: the essence and development of implementation. Tools of personal and collective time management.
Assessment methods and criteria: The termly control takes the form of a pass-fail assessment, which is based on the current control during the pairs (oral express questioning, assignments, speeches and presentations) and on the results of the control work.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control (100 points):
- completion of the tasks in the practical classes (30 points);
- completing and defending a control paper (30 points);
- testing (40 points).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: The student's learning outcomes and achievements are assessed according to an institutional 100-point scale:
88-100 points - certified with a grade of "excellent";
71-87 points - certified with a grade of "good";
50-70 points - certified with "satisfactory" assessment;
26-49 - "not evaluated";
00-25 points - "not certified" - failing grade.
