Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the discipline "Finance of foreign corporations" is to help students gain knowledge about the financial relations of corporations of foreign jurisdiction, primarily developed countries; students mastering the peculiarities of the development of corporate finance theories and their practical application.
Завдання: professional competences: SK02. Understanding the peculiarities of the functioning of modern global and national financial systems and their structure. SK12. The ability to analyze the financial condition of corporations and determine effective directions for the development of financial and economic activity and the growth of financial potential. SK13. Ability to establish effective financial relations and long-term cooperation with consumers, financial intermediaries, investors, financial and credit institutions, insurance companies, using regulatory documents based on contract law.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. PR03. Determine the peculiarities of the functioning of modern world and national financial systems and their structure. 2. PR14. Be able to think abstractly, apply analysis and synthesis to identify the key characteristics of financial systems, as well as the peculiarities of the behavior of their subjects. 3. PR26. Design and develop financial relationships with counterparties using the financial infrastructure to know: the essence of the theories of finance of corporations and their main components; the essence, characteristics and structural elements of the financial market of foreign corporations; elements of financial statements of foreign corporations; general characteristics of the structural elements of the corporation's capital; principles of taxation of corporations of leading countries of the world; forms and types of diagnostics of financial status of corporations; main directions of structural restructuring of corporations of foreign countries; conditions of formation and major world financial centers; peculiarities of budgeting of capital investments of foreign corporations; the role and place of foreign corporations in the global finance system; the mechanism of international financial transactions; features of regulation of world financial flows; financial corporations of Ukraine in the world finance system. be able to: use the methods of analysis of financial statements of corporations; to calculate the total value of investments, the price of capital, to analyze the dividend policy of corporations; to determine indicators of profitability, liquidity, stability of share capital; to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the financial condition of corporations Teaching and learning methods Lectures, practical, information-receptive method, reproductive method, heuristic method, problem presentation method, independent work - reproductive method, research method Methods of assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes Current control: oral survey; performances at practical classes, testing, assessment of activity, performance of research tasks, etc. Examination control: oral survey, test control

Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Evaluation of the results of all forms of control is provided on a 100-point scale. The criteria for evaluating the results of the current work (tasks performed in practical, results of independent work of students) is carried out as a % of the number of points allocated to the task, with rounding to a whole number: 0% - task not completed; 40% - tasks are partially completed and contain significant methodological or calculation errors; 60% - the task is completed completely or on time, but contains significant errors in calculations or methodology; 80% - the task was completed in full and on time, but contains some minor shortcomings (dimensions, conclusions, design, etc.); 100% - the task was completed on time, correctly and without comments. On the exam, the applicant can get a maximum of 60 points. The exam consists of a written and an oral component. The written component is an examination ticket, which consists of tasks of two levels, evaluated on a separate scale: Level 1 – tests 20 tests*2 points = 40 points; Level 2 - solve problems - 2 problems *5 points = 10 points During oral communication with the teacher, the applicant can receive from 0 to 10 points for answering the examiner's question
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Procedure and criteria for assigning points and grades: Current control (PC): DFN: 1. Current survey and computer testing - 14 points; testing by topics in the National Security Service – with the transfer to a scale of 0-4 points. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts and the minimum number of points. 2. Performance and defense of laboratory work - 4*4 points, incl. 2 points for the defense of each work, a total of 16 points. The presence of errors in the calculations implies a return for revision. Points are not reduced for design and presentation. Additional points (up to 10 points) encourage the recipient to research work - participation in research contests, publication of scientific theses and articles in accordance with the standards of the Higher Education Institution of Lviv Polytechnic. Current control (PC): ZFN: 1. Control works 2*7b, incl. 2 points for the defense of each work, a total of 14 points. 2. Performance and defense of laboratory work - 4*4 points, incl. 2 points for the defense of each work, a total of 16 points. The presence of errors in the calculations implies a return for revision. Points are not reduced for design and presentation. Examination control (EC). The candidate can get a maximum of 70 points on the exam. The exam consists of written and oral components: 1. Written component. The written component is an examination ticket consisting of tasks of two levels, evaluated on a separate scale: Level 1, Level 2 – tests: 65 tests ?1 points = 65 points. 2. Oral component. During the oral communication with the teacher, the applicant can receive from 0 to 5 points for answering the examiner's questions for all questions submitted for semester control and completed tasks.
