Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the subject "Social responsibility and social security" is to form a system of fundamental knowledge in the field of social responsibility and social security from the standpoint of modern standards of social policy, social reporting, business ethics and human rights in the context of integration, within the framework of the concept of sustainable development, as well as their acquisition of relevant professional competences, which ensure the formation of socially responsible behaviour and protective functions of the interests of the business entity in the social and economic sphere.
Завдання: Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. Ability to communicate with representatives of other professional groups at different levels (with experts from other fields of knowledge/types of economic activity). The ability to use modern information technologies, methods and techniques for studying economic and social processes, adequate to the established research needs. The ability to identify key trends in socio-economic and human development. The ability to substantiate management decisions regarding the effective development of economic entities. Ability to assess possible risks, socio-economic consequences of management decisions.
Learning outcomes: 1) have the basics of theoretical principles and interaction of the state, business, society and man in the field of social responsibility as conditions for sustainable development of society; 2) know the essence and basics of the components of social responsibility of the state, business, society and man; 3) be able to form goals and determine areas of social security; 4) be able to determine strategic and tactical measures for the formation of the safest organizational model of social security of a particular entity; 5) be able to determine the tools for the formation of international, national, regional, sectoral economic policy in terms of compliance with their social responsibility and the principle of social security.

Summary of the subject: Social responsibility appears as a philosophical, integrative moral-ethical, legal, socio-economic, managerial category, which is considered from different angles, in different planes for the use of the achievements of the most modern theories (concepts) and domestic and foreign practice.
