Professional competences: The ability to apply scientific, analytical, methodical tools to substantiate the strategy of development of economic entities and related management decisions. The ability to identify key trends in socio-economic and human development. The ability to substantiate management decisions regarding the effective development of economic entities. Ability to assess possible risks, socio-economic consequences of management decisions. Ability to develop scenarios and strategies for the development of socio-economic systems. Ability to use tools of strategic management of enterprise development. The ability to substantiate the directions of innovative development of the enterprise.
Learning outcomes: The learning outcomes of this discipline detail the following program learning outcomes:
- to develop, substantiate and make effective decisions on issues of development of socio-economic systems and management of subjects of economic activity;
- to make effective decisions under uncertain conditions and requirements that require the use of new approaches, methods and tools of socio-economic research;
- determine and critically assess the state and trends of socio-economic development, form and analyze models of economic systems and processes;
- to develop scenarios and strategies for the development of socio-economic systems;
- choose and apply scientific, analytical, methodical tools for substantiating strategic management decisions at the enterprise;
- assess the level of innovative development and the innovative potential of the enterprise, develop strategies and business models for the innovative development of the enterprise.

- conveying to specialists and non-specialists information, ideas, problems, solutions and own experience in the field of professional activity;
- the ability to effectively form a communication strategy.

Summary of the subject:
The discipline "Strategies for the Development of Socio-Economic Systems" belongs to the latest educational courses and provides an interdisciplinary and systematic approach to the study of theoretical and practical aspects of the development of strategies and tactics of management of socio-economic systems, determination of recommendations for the development of strategies at all levels of the economy in modern conditions.
Опис: The essence and foundations of socio-economic systems. Theoretical foundations of economic development of socio-economic systems: models and concepts. Strategic contour of management of development of social and economic systems. SES Competitiveness Development Management. Strategic planning of city development as a socio-economic system. Key elements of strategic management of regional socio-economic systems. National economic development strategies in a global environment. Global strategies for transformation and structural modernization of socio-economic systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Current control (45%):
- assessment of knowledge in practical classes (performance of situational tasks; participation in discussions; control testing);
- assessment of performance and protection of individual calculation (control) works (correctness of calculations, correctness of conclusions and recommendations; correctness, completeness and conciseness of the answer during the defense of work).
2. Examination control (55%): assessment of written and oral components.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current and examination control. Knowledge assessment methods: selective oral survey; performances at practical classes; tests; assessment of activity, submitted proposals, original ideas and solutions, clarifications, additions, definitions, etc. Exam - written survey, test control, oral survey.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
