Learning outcomes: GLO 2. To think creatively, show flexibility in decision-making based on logical arguments and verified facts in a limited time and resources based on the use of various diagnostic methodologies of leading international organizations
GLO 4. Make informed decisions on the problems of international economic relations under uncertain conditions and requirements.
GLO 7. Investigate and analyze models of development of national economies and justify measures to achieve their strategic goals in the transformation of world economic relations.
GLO 9. Monitor, analyze, evaluate the activities of global firms (corporations, strategic alliances, consortia, unions, trusts, etc.) in order to identify their competitive positions and advantages in world markets.
GLO 10. Understand the patterns and trends of the world economy and the phenomenon of the new economy, taking into account the processes of intellectualization, informatization and scientific and technological exchange.

Summary of the subject: Тhe essence and significance of venture and startup entrepreneurship; history of venture business; venture capitalists as suppliers of venture capital; startup ecosystem and venture infrastructure: essence, meaning, classifications; startups with venture capital: features of creation, sources of financing, types; stages of development of innovative enterprises in terms of their needs in venture capital; venture financing process; systems of state and non-state support and development of ecosystems of startups of the world's leading countries; venture organization as an open system and object of management; features of construction of management systems of enterprises under the internal scheme of venture financing; features of application of "independent" venture investment scheme; features of search, selection and attraction of venture investors by managers of innovative enterprises; features of developing a presentation and business plan of the project for venture investors, pitching startup projects. Formation of the capital structure of a venture enterprise, forecasting the future value of the enterprise that attracts venture capital; strategies for investors to exit venture. Application of external venture financing schemes for projects; evaluating the effectiveness of venture financing of startup projects; the main trends in the development of venture business in the world; state and prospects of venture entrepreneurship development in Ukraine.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control (30%): oral examination, performance of laboratory work, assessing of control work for part-time students;
- final control (70%): written test (50%), oral answer (20%)
