Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline is to form the future specialist's knowledge and skills, provided for by his qualifications, which are necessary for the successful education of students and their further professional activities. The teaching of the discipline is provided in the form of lectures, laboratory work and course work.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation of the necessary competencies in students: general: - the ability to learn and acquire knowledge in the field of geodesy, photogrammetry, land management, cartography and geoinformatics and to integrate them with existing ones; - the ability to produce new ideas, to show creativity and the ability to system thinking. professional: - knowledge of specialized software and GIS systems and basic programming skills to solve applied professional problems; - the ability to identify, classify and describe digital models by using digital methods and modeling methods. - understanding the principles of operation and structure of remote sensing aerospace filming systems; - knowledge of analytical methods for determining the quantitative parameters of objects of architecture, industrial and civil construction and other industries based on remote sensing data; - knowledge of the methods of implementing the tasks of professional systems using the capabilities of a fully functional instrumental hardware and software environment.
Learning outcomes: - the ability to demonstrate knowledge of the current state of affairs and the latest technologies in the field of geodesy and land management; - to formulate and improve an important research problem, to solve it, collect the necessary information and formulate conclusions that can be defended in a scientific context; - use information resources in a scientific manner, using high standards of textual analysis; - integrate knowledge and understanding to identify, formulate and solve professional problems, using known methods; - think systematically and apply creative abilities to the formation of fundamentally new ideas; - perform appropriate experimental research using research skills on a professional topic; - combine theory and practice, as well as make decisions and develop an activity strategy to solve the tasks of the specialty (specialization), taking into account universal human values, public, state and industrial interests; - the ability to use various methods, in particular information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels; - the ability to clearly and unambiguously convey one's own well-founded conclusions and knowledge to specialists, non-specialists and people who are studying.

Summary of the subject: Applied photogrammetry is one of the profiling disciplines of specialty 193 "Geodesy and Land Management". It is included in the complex of theoretical knowledge of the master's degree in photogrammetry. The educational discipline involves the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the application of photogrammetry methods to solve various engineering and technical problems. In particular, the performance of field and camera photogrammetric works and the creation of surveying plans of mining quarries at the "Delta" DPS on the territory of mining facilities; obtaining images of large engineering structures (cooling towers of nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power stations, TPP pipes, etc.), to determine their deformations during operation; obtaining digital ground images of architectural structures and creating, after processing them at the "Delta" DPS, large-scale frontal plans for their further use during restoration works; processing of digital images of microsurfaces of research objects obtained on raster electron microscopes and obtaining their quantitative spatial characteristics important for modern micro- and nanotechnologies, etc.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current control is carried out in the form of an oral survey during the defense of laboratory work. Semester control is provided in the form of a written component with a theoretical and practical component and an oral component.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.

Learning outcomes: - to know the theoretical foundations of photogrammetry methods that are used in applied engineering; - be able to carry out surveying of structures and communications construction sites; - to know the methods of preparation and practical use frontal plans structures; - to know methods for the plans and determine the volume of extracted rock open mining excavations (quarries); - to know analytical methods quantification of various architectural monuments and buildings; - to be able making plans and maps DPS "Delta".
