Завдання: The ability to analyze and evaluate problems in various aspects of museology, monument studies and cultural tourism and to propose scientifically reasoned solutions, taking into account a holistic, multi-perspective, interdisciplinary, axiological approach to the understanding and interpretation of cultural heritage.
Formation of an active civic position based on awareness of historical phenomena and cultural phenomena in the national and European context.
Ability to design routes in the field of cultural tourism.
Learning outcomes: • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the theory and practice of museum studies, monument studies and cultural tourism;
• Think critically, systematically and apply creativity to generate ideas.
Required prior and related subjects: History and theory of art, Heritage of the Middle Ages: historical and cultural dimension, Historical and cultural heritage of European civilization (XVIII - XXI centuries).
Summary of the subject: The course "History of World Museums and Museum Tourism" for students of the specialty 027 "Museology, Monumentology" is designed to follow the evolution and stages of the formation of the museum as a special socio-cultural phenomenon at various stages of human history. An important aspect of the course is an attempt to trace the history of museology, as a peculiar attitude of man to reality, thanks to which he at various stages of his history selects, preserves, investigates and uses such material evidence about nature and man, which fulfill the function of memories for the society of a certain historical era 'yati
Опис: Сollecting in antiquity; European Middle Ages, churches and their treasures, secular treasury and private collecting; the emergence of public museums at the Renaissance; development of Western European Museums in the Age of Enlightenment; Enlightenment ideology and the concept of a public museum; the emergence of museums in Central and Eastern Europe; development of European museums in the XIX - early XX century; Museums of Natural History and Culture; peculiarities of the emergence and development of museums in the Americas, Australia, Asia and Africa; development of museums in the world in the XX century; Museum in a totalitarian society; Ecomuseum integrated museum and the "new museology".
Assessment methods and criteria: rating assessment on a 100-point system: current tests - 40 points (quiz, presentation, oral and written answers), final test - 60 points (written exam).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: the structure of the individual task (the history ("legend") of the exhibit, the presentation of slides that reveal the place of the rarity in the structure of the exposition of a certain museum, its tourist potential);
quality of information sources and work content;
level of independence and depth of meaningfulness of the main material;
level of familiarity with factual material, terminology and concepts;
the ability to analyze, compare, classify and summarize material
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
