Мета вивчення дисципліни: The aim of the course is to formulate foreign language communicative competence, and try to teach students how to use it to develop personally.
Завдання: General competences: -ability to search, process and analyze information from different sources with the help of information and communication technologies -tolerance for social and cultural differences and cultural legacy -aptitude for professional and personal development, self-education and self-organization - ability to work individually and in a team - ability to communicate a foreign language - ability to operate in international context. Professional competences -ability to identify communicative, educational, nominative, expressive and other language functions -ability to demonstrate language and speech competence in the process of interpersonal communication -good command of a foreign language orthoepic norms in the process of intercultural communication -general understanding of Chinese language as a sign system, its nature and functions, phonetics, lexis and grammar. -understanding communication as realization of language functions in different social spheres -ability to select, analyze, and interpret Chinese texts.
Learning outcomes: As a result of successful study in the program of this course, students are expected to acquire the language level HSK1, which is the basic level of Chinese language use in everyday life. As a result of studying this course the student must know: 1.spelling and rules of reading the phonetic system of pinyins; basic hieroglyphic keys and graphemes, rules of hieroglyphic writing, the structure of a simple chinese sentence, understand the formation of parts of speech. 2. basic lexical material on the topics of oral speech: "How are you?", "What do you do?", "What country are you from?", "How old are you?" "," My family "," My day "," What do you want to eat? "," I can speak Chinese. " be able to: simply and coherently speak on familiar topics or topics of personal interests; maintain a basic topic conversation.

Summary of the subject: The course has a practical focus, giving students the opportunity to acquire general communicative competence in the use of Chinese. Learning is carried out by integrating speech skills and language skills within a familiar general thematic and situational context. The course consists of eight units on various topics, each of which provides appropriate grammatical and oral topic.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Listening - Complete comprehension of the listening material. Students have to demonstrate the ability to comprehend and reproduce, interpret, memorise the material and perform oral and written tasks. Reading - students demonstrate the knowledge of the reading material; they are able to reproduce all the facts correctly; certain inconsistencies are allowed, however, students should demonstrate critical thinking, the ability to analyze and lay out the material consecutively. Students understand and can explain most of the words in a text, can translate and use them participating in a discussion. Speaking - students are able to express themselves on a given topic using lexical and grammar constructions, speak fluently and support their point of view by the help of language means and participate in discussions. Writing - students possess an appropriate level of knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. A written paper should be concise, coherent, logical (an essay, a letter, a summary, etc.)
