Мета вивчення дисципліни: Creating favorable conditions for the personal development of students in the process of forming an active civic position and a sense of responsibility in society. The course has the potential to become a factor in the consolidation of different cultural models, based on a comparative analysis of different cultures and dissimilar cultural formations, a rejection of Eurocentrism and an evaluative attitude to culture. The educational discipline stimulates the development of students' critical thinking and analysis and adequate evaluation of historical and cultural information, motivation and self-identification of the individual based on knowledge of the history, cultural and scientific heritage of society.
Завдання: General competences: appreciation and respect for diversity and multiculturalism; formation of an active civic position based on awareness of historical phenomena and cultural phenomena in the national and world context; mastering the skills and methods of critical information analysis; constructive social interaction based on sustainable value orientations. Professional competences: the ability to develop public awareness of cultural heritage; the ability to comprehensively consider culture in the context of sustainable development; the ability to evaluate, interpret and critically analyze cultural facts and cause-and-effect relationships between them; the orientation of the personality towards cultural values ??and meanings, which constitutes the value-motivating basis of the student's personality culture.

(the ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge).

Summary of the subject: The study of the study discipline "Ethnography of Ukraine" by students of NU involves the formation of knowledge about the theoretical foundations and schools of ethnographic centers of Ukraine; ethnographic dimension of culture and modern global processes; ethnographic zoning of Ukraine; traditional economic activities, folk crafts, knowledge of Ukrainians and national minorities living in Ukraine.The main task of the academic discipline is to form respect for diversity, multiculturalism and active citizenship based on the awareness of historical phenomena and ethnographic phenomena in the national and world context. Apply the acquired knowledge during the study of the academic discipline in the analysis of modern socio-cultural processes and in professional activities.
Опис: The educational discipline "Ethnography of Ukraine" provides for the formation of knowledge about the theoretical foundations and schools of ethnographic centers of Ukraine; ethnographic dimension of culture and modern global processes; ethnographic zoning of Ukraine; traditional economic activities, folk crafts, knowledge of Ukrainians and national minorities living in Ukraine. Ethnography and its place in the system of ethnographic science. Economic culture of Ukrainians. National clothes of Ukrainians. Traditional folk beliefs and rites of Ukrainians. Family customs and rituals. Historical and ethnographic zoning of Ukraine. National minorities on the territory of Ukraine. Classifications of peoples of the world. Ethnic processes and ethnic conflicts in Ukraine.
Assessment methods and criteria: For the academic discipline for which credit is provided, the final grade is set based on PC results on a 100-point scale. Current control takes into account: - writing three control classroom papers. Each of them is evaluated with 15 points; - preparation of individual work - 20 points; - accumulation of points on the PR through survey, oral answers, presentations - 35 points. The maximum number of points with which an individual work is evaluated is 15 points (preparation of abstracts, essays, reviews, video materials or presentations demonstrates systematic and in-depth knowledge of program material, fluency in the conceptual apparatus and knowledge of the content of primary sources, the ability to make independent judgments, expert assessments, conclusions and forecasts ). Semester evaluation (SO) Semester control (SC) (credit) of knowledge is carried out based on the total number of points received based on the results of the current control (PC) on a 100-point scale.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
