Learning outcomes: to find out the peculiarities of using the term "material culture" to refer to the sphere of scientific knowledge; find out the meaning of the concept of "collection"; to classify historical and cultural values; determine the direction of the features of collecting; use modern sources of scientific information; use the methods of analysis of the object and object of research; be able to achieve independent research results; plan the research and writing of the scientific work.

Assessment methods and criteria: Semester evaluation of student learning is carried out according to the total number of points - 100, obtained according to the results of current control - 40 p. (surveys, presentations, oral and written answers, and one control paperwork) and the implementation of control measures – 60 p.(written zalik/credit ).
