Summary of the subject: The subject of study of the academic discipline "Archival Studies" is a complex of problems related to the formation and development of national archival affairs and archives in Ukraine, as well as theoretical and practical aspects of the activity of archival institutions in the field of accumulation of archival documents, compilation of archival funds, their processing, accounting, storage and preservation, ultimately organizing access to them and using information contained in archival documents, in scientific and professional activities. Special attention is devoted to archival heuristics, the work of researchers with documentary resources of archives, their use, information and research activity of archival institutions, their use of the latest information and computer technologies, etc.

Assessment methods and criteria: Semester assessment (SS) of students' knowledge is carried out based on the total number of points obtained from the results of the current control (CC) and the performance of the control action (CA).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Assessment methods: evaluation rating on a 100-point system:
current control - 40 points (surveys, oral and written answers, analytical and creative tasks);
control action - 60 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Report. The maximum score is 5. Qualitative characteristics of the completed task (subitem is evaluated with 1 point): correctness, logic, reasonableness, integrity of knowledge; quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength; correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus; speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation); the level of meaningfulness of knowledge – the ability to formulate independent evaluative judgments and theoretical conclusions.
Reviewing, opposing. The maximum score is 3. Qualitative characteristics of the completed task (the subsection is evaluated with 1 point): correctness, logic, reasonableness, integrity of knowledge; the ability to present and review; the ability to argue one's own judgments and conclusions during a scientific discussion.
