Мета вивчення дисципліни: Creating favorable conditions for the personal development of students in the process of forming an active civic position and a sense of responsibility in society. The course has the potential to become a factor in the consolidation of different cultural models, based on a comparative analysis of different cultures and dissimilar cultural formations, a rejection of Eurocentrism and an evaluative attitude to culture. The educational discipline stimulates the development of students' critical thinking and analysis and adequate evaluation of historical and cultural information, motivation and self-identification of the individual based on knowledge of the history, cultural and scientific heritage of society.
Завдання: General competences: appreciation and respect for diversity and multiculturalism; formation of an active civic position based on awareness of historical phenomena and cultural phenomena in the national and world context; mastering the skills and methods of critical information analysis; constructive social interaction based on sustainable value orientations. Professional competences: ability to develop public awareness of cultural heritage; the ability to comprehensively consider culture in the context of sustainable development; the ability to evaluate, interpret and critically analyze cultural facts and cause-and-effect relationships between them; the orientation of the personality towards cultural values ??and meanings, which constitutes the value-motivating basis of the student's personality culture.
Learning outcomes: UM.1. (think critically, systematically and apply creative abilities to generate ideas). UM 7. (search for information in various sources to solve specialty tasks). AIV 2. (the ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge).
Required prior and related subjects: Ethnography of Ukraine. Local history.
Summary of the subject: The study by students of the educational discipline "Cultural Anthropology" involves the formation of knowledge about the theoretical foundations and concepts of cultural anthropology; the anthropological dimension of culture and modern world socio-cultural processes; anthropology of everyday life; traditional and urban cultures and socio-cultural aspects of the economy and economic system of national communities.

Assessment methods and criteria: Knowledge assessment methods: selective oral survey; speeches at seminars, tests, colloquium, assessment of activity, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, etc. Exam - written survey, test control.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: rating assessment according to the 100-point system: current control – 45 points (surveys, presentations, oral, written answers); final control – 55 points (exam) including individual work.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
