Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline is: assimilation of knowledge by students about the theoretical directions of the study of personality socialization in gender, family and age aspects; formation of an idea about the objective and subjective conditions of socialization, about the stages, factors, institutions and mechanisms of socialization; the ability to understand the complex system of scientific concepts formed in the theory of gender and family; acquisition by students of education not only of a complete system of knowledge from the specified special aspects, but also of practical, research and analytical skills and mastery of a developed "sociological imagination", a systematic and interpretive style of thinking.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: ЗK 01. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. ЗK 0 6. The ability to act socially responsibly and consciously. ЗK 0 8. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. professional competences: СC 1. The ability to operate the basic categorical and conceptual apparatus of sociology. СK 2. Ability to master and use basic classical and modern sociological theories.
Learning outcomes: Use the conceptual apparatus of sociology in educational, research and other areas of professional activity. Understand the history of sociology, its modern concepts and theories, the main problems. Apply the provisions of sociological theories and concepts to the study of social change in Ukraine and the world. Explain the patterns and features of development and functioning of social phenomena in the context of professional tasks. Communicate fluently in state and foreign languages orally and in writing on professional matters Be able to use information and communication technologies in the process of searching, collecting and analyzing sociological information. Substantiate their own position, make and argue independent conclusions based on research and analysis of professional literature. Be able to develop a program of sociological research. Have the skills to collect social information using quantitative and qualitative methods. Present the results of their own research to professionals and non-specialists. Conceptual scientific and practical knowledge. Critical understanding of theories, principles, methods and concepts in the field of professional activity and / or training. In-depth cognitive and practical skills, mastery and innovation at the level required to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of professional activity or training. Summary of the subject: The educational course "Gender, Family and Age Aspects of Socialization" is taught with the aim of forming in students a sociological perspective on highlighting the most urgent problems that determine the facts, mechanisms and patterns of the development of socialization of the individual in gender and family aspects and at different age stages. The course provides an analysis of the interdisciplinary field of knowledge, a synthesis of existing approaches, concepts and theories. This special course combines the institutional and personal dimensions of research into the socialization process. The proposed course is aimed at an in-depth study of the theoretical origins of the sociology of gender, age and family. The scientific-methodological basis of the educational discipline is modern concepts of sociology and social psychology, in particular structural-functional, psychoanalytic, conflictological, evolutionary, situational and interactionist approaches to the study of gender, family and age. The mastering of this course is expected to be carried out in various forms: lectures, seminars, practical, individual classes, independent work, preparation of scientific articles, etc.
Опис: Basic concepts of feminism. History of the formation of social theory of gender. Modern theories of feminism. The main components of gender differentiation. Gender research tools. Gender stratification of society Theory of gender discrimination and oppression. Gender aspects in working with families. Gender socialization of the individual. Gender roles and family. Applying the practice of feminism to work with special groups of clients. Gender aspect of community work Origin and development of sociology of the family. The family as a social institution, its place in the society. Historical trends in the development of family and marital relations. Family forms. The influence of microsocial phenomena on changes in the institution of the family. Social functions of the family and trends in their changes. The family in the system of microsocial structures. The family as a center of socialization of the individual. Intergenerational relationships in the family. Stages of formation of marital and family relations and life cycles of the family. Methods of sociological research of family life cycle and family behavior. Problems of social pathology and family. Problems of family stability in modern society. Age as an object of scientific research. Age stratification of the society. Age specifics of personality socializations. Childhood as a socio-cultural value. Youth as an object of sociological research. Personality development at the stage of maturity. The theory of generations. Gerontogenesis. Personality development specifics at a later age.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral interviews, participation in discussions and interactive exercises, presentation of the study project (40%) • final control (verification event, exam), written form (60%)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Report - 10 points - correctness, logic, reasonableness, integrity of knowledge; – quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength; - correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus; - speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation); - the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions. Reviewing, opposing - 3 points - correctness, logic, reasonableness, integrity of knowledge; - the ability to present and review; - the ability to argue one's own judgments and conclusions during a scientific discussion. Supplement - 2 points - a scientifically based statement that reveals the essence of phenomena, processes, patterns. Express survey - 2 points - a short correct answer without additional arguments
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks;70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
