Understand the history of sociology, its modern concepts and theories, the main problems.
Apply the provisions of sociological theories and concepts to the study of social change in Ukraine and the world.
Explain the patterns and features of development and functioning of social phenomena in the context of professional tasks.
Communicate fluently in state and foreign languages orally and in writing on professional matters.
Effectively perform various roles (including organizer, communicator, critic, idea generator, performer, etc.) in the team in the process of solving professional problems.

Summary of the subject: The study of the discipline "Social design and evaluation" involves the student's understanding of the role of projects in solving social problems of society.
The study of the discipline involves the work of the student in lectures and the performance of practical tasks on each topic.
The presentation of theoretical provisions and the implementation of practical tasks should be accompanied by close cooperation between the teacher and students, which significantly increases the level of efficiency of knowledge acquisition.
Опис: Theoretical and methodological principles of social design. Social project: essence and features. Modern approaches to social design. Technology of social project development. Structural and logical model of the project. Components of the structural model of the project: purpose, goals, activities, products of activity. Requirements for goal setting. Practical and program goals. Logical relationships between elements of the program model. The role of sociological research in the development of a social project. Text design of a social project. Implementation of a social project. Monitoring and evaluation of social projects. Definition of assessment. Two main evaluation questions. Objectives of the evaluation. Stakeholder groups and their interests in evaluation. Design and monitoring approaches to evaluation. Characteristics of the project management process. Quantitative evaluation of projects. Qualitative approach to project evaluation. Logical model of project planning and evaluation. Measurement and analysis. Measurement task. Measuring tools: rating scale, person-specific scale, final scale, goal achievement scale. Standard measuring instruments. General requirements for measuring instruments.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Attestation of students in the discipline "Quantitative and qualitative analysis in social work" is carried out with the help of means of objective control of the degree of achievement of the final goals.
1. Attestation is carried out on the basis of the assessment of the level of competences achieved and the results of the bachelor's studies in the specialty "Social Security" using the methods of complex diagnostics: the semester assessment (SА) of the knowledge of the students is carried out based on the total number of points obtained according to the results of the current control (CС), and the implementation control measure (KM).
2. The information base, on the basis of which the means of objective control of the degree of achievement of the final goals of mastering the discipline are formed, are its subject matter, tasks for practical and independent works, a list of literature and methodical recommendations.
3. Attestation of the quality of mastering the discipline is carried out after the students complete the work program in its entirety.
