Learning outcomes: PH01. To use the conceptual apparatus of sociology in educational, research and other spheres of professional activity.
PH02. To understand the history of the development of sociology, its modern concepts and theories, the main problems.
PH03. Apply the provisions of sociological theories and concepts to the study of social changes in Ukraine and the world.
PH04. To explain the patterns and peculiarities of the development and functioning of social phenomena in the context of professional tasks.

Summary of the subject: The program is designed for 30 lecture and 30 seminar hours. Seminar classes should consolidate the theoretical knowledge of students, teach them to independently analyze and compare the experience of the functioning of existing models of PR technologies, since the awareness and qualified application of this knowledge is a guarantee of professional activity.
The "Public Relations" course fits into the structure of educational disciplines of future sociologists and economists, complements and develops them.
Опис: Public Relations (PR) as a field of scientific knowledge and an area of professional activity. Formula of PR. The origins and history of PR. The public in PR-system as an object and subject of communication. Public opinion: studies and formation. Communication as a process of information transfer. Lines of communication influence in the system PR - activities. Communication problems and PR - activities in the organization.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral interviews, participation in discussions, presentation of the study project (40%)
• final control (verification event, exam), written-oral form (60%)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Report - 4 points.
– quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength;
- correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus;
- speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation);
- the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions.
Performance of interactive exercises or case analysis - 4 points.
- the sequence of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- approaches to solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- the quality of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- disclosure of cause-and-effect relationships between phenomena and processes during the solution of the situation proposed in the exercise or case.
Reviewing, opposing - 2 points.
– correctness, logic, reasonableness, integrity of knowledge;
- the ability to argue one's own judgments and conclusions during a scientific discussion.
Supplement - 1 point.
- a scientifically based statement that reveals the essence of phenomena, processes, patterns.
