Summary of the subject: The study of the discipline ""Quantitative and qualitative analysis of documents in sociology" involves the student's understanding of the role of projects in solving social problems of society.
The study of the discipline involves the work of the student in lectures and the performance of practical tasks on each topic.
The presentation of theoretical provisions and the implementation of practical tasks should be accompanied by close cooperation between the teacher and students, which significantly increases the level of efficiency of knowledge acquisition.
Опис: Theoretical and methodological principles of quantitative methods of social research. Measurements in social research. Selective method in sociological research. Procedures of conceptualization and operationalization. Questions as an empirical indicator. Review of methods of descriptive statistics. Review of methods of analytical statistics. General methodology of a research project in the system of "qualitative sociology". Individual interview in qualitative sociology. Group interviews in qualitative social research. Group interviews in qualitative social research. Concepts and types of qualitative analysis. The concept of analysis in qualitative social research. Stages of text analysis. Types of text analysis in qualitative social research: thematic analysis, analysis in terms of sound theory, discourse analysis, narrative analysis, interpretive analysis. Presentation of "qualitative" social research data.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Attestation of students in the discipline "Quantitative and qualitative analysis in social work" is carried out with the help of means of objective control of the degree of achievement of the final goals.
1. Attestation is carried out on the basis of the assessment of the level of competences achieved and the results of the bachelor's studies in the specialty "Social Security" using the methods of complex diagnostics: the semester assessment (SА) of the knowledge of the students is carried out based on the total number of points obtained according to the results of the current control (CС), and the implementation control measure (KM).
2. The information base, on the basis of which the means of objective control of the degree of achievement of the final goals of mastering the discipline are formed, are its subject matter, tasks for practical and independent works, a list of literature and methodical recommendations.
3. Attestation of the quality of mastering the discipline is carried out after the students complete the work program in its entirety.
