Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of the following competencies in students of education:
General competences:
ЗK 1 Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations.
ЗK 6 The ability to act socially responsibly and consciously.
ЗK 8 Ability to learn and master modern knowledge.
Professional competences:
СК 1 Ability to operate the basic categorical and conceptual apparatus of sociology.
СК 2 Ability to learn and use basic classical and modern sociological theories.
Learning outcomes: RН 01. To use the conceptual apparatus of sociology in educational, research and other spheres of professional activity.
РН02. To understand the history of the development of sociology, its modern concepts and theories, the main problems.
РН03 Apply the provisions of sociological theories and concepts to the study of social changes in Ukraine and the world.
RН04. To explain the regularities and peculiarities of the development and functioning of social phenomena in the context of professional tasks.
RН05 Communicate freely in national and foreign/foreign languages orally and in writing on professional issues.
РН07. To be able to use information and communication technologies in the process of searching, collecting and analyzing sociological information.
PH08. Justify one's own position, make and argue independent conclusions based on the results of research and analysis of professional literature.

Summary of the subject: During the study of the discipline "Imagined and real social communities", students must learn the features of the sociological approach to the study of the phenomena of imagined and real communities in modern society, their formation and functioning. It is also important to clarify the socio-technological aspects of the life of these communities, in particular, related to the purpose of their creation, their purpose in modern society.
The study of the discipline involves students working in lectures and performing practical tasks on each topic, as well as writing and defending an individual control paper (essay) on a self-selected topic related to the issues of the course.
Опис: Social communities and groups: essence and typology. The place of social communities of different types in the structure of society and their functions. Problems of sociological understanding, methodologies of description and analysis of social communities, groups of modern society. Imaginary and real, formal and informal communities: public imagination, discourses and design practices. Communities and social cohesion: global trends and Ukrainian social experience. Communities of friends, neighbors, partners, fellows, coworkers, virtual communities of "friends", etc .: traditional understanding and new features. Ethnic communities: essence and typologies. Models of building interethnic relations. Political nation. Ethnos / nation and personality: problems of identity formation. The image of another, ethnic stereotypes and prejudices. Collective historical memory: the essence and functions in the life of the ethnos. Ethnic structure and interethnic relations in modern Ukraine.
Assessment methods and criteria: - oral interviews, participation in discussions and interactive exercises, presentation of the study project (40%)
- final control test, written form (60%)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання:
Report - 4 b.
– quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength;
- correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus;
- speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation);
- the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions.

- a scientifically based statement that reveals the essence of phenomena, processes, patterns.
Performance of interactive exercises or case analysis - 4 b.
- the sequence of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case;
- approaches to solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- the quality of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- disclosure of cause-and-effect relationships between phenomena and processes during the solution of the situation proposed in the exercise or case.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
