Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline is: mastering the basic concepts and definitions of quality management; familiarization with foreign experience regarding quality management systems; study of approaches, principles, methods and technologies of quality management in social security.
Завдання: ZK.2. Basic knowledge in the field of fundamental sciences to the extent necessary for mastering general professional disciplines; ZK.3. Basic knowledge in the field of social and behavioral sciences, necessary for mastering professionally oriented disciplines, understanding the cause-and-effect relationships of the development of society and the ability to use them in professional activities and social interaction; ZK.4. Ability to analyze and synthesize; ZK.5. Ability to apply and integrate knowledge and understanding of disciplines of other related fields; ZK.16. The ability to act socially, responsibly, to show civic consciousness, to be responsible for the quality of the work performed; FK.5. The ability to use basic knowledge in the field of social and economic support of less protected categories of the population; FC.8. The ability to form social and personal relationships;
Learning outcomes: 1. Ability to demonstrate professional competence obtained in the course of development of various disciplines; 2. Ability to demonstrate professional skills gained in the process of work and pregraduation practice; 3. The ability to apply the universal principles of coexistence and ethical standards of conduct towards people and the environment; 4. To carry out self-examination and self esteem, eliminate bad habits and shortcomings, to respect traditions and customs of the Ukrainian people and the cultural heritage of civilizations, to apply the socio-ecological knowledge of the coexistence in the environment; 5. To use basic knowledge about the basics of social protection 6. The ability to organize the work of the staff, to cooperate and interact with various departments and to involve leading experts, to organize work and effective interaction of structural divisions, to direct their activities for the implementation of production tasks, to apply the methods and forms of personnel policies encourage staff to apply socio-economic principles of management, to develop a system of social protection in structural subdivisions; 7. Ability to develop regulatory documentation with social security, insurance, employment, etc.; 8. To develop measures for improving the system of social protection; 9. To provide support of separate categories of the population with officials, government and non-government organizations; 10. To show willingness to cooperate with colleagues, to make management decisions in the organization of work of performers; 11. To determine the conditions of socio-economic support of different categories of the population; 12. To analyze the situation, identify the reasons for the shortcomings and failures of the planned activities; 13. To identify social problems and needs and their causes, trends, consequences, and social status of certain categories of the population; 14. To analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of socio-economic support of the population and implement the appropriate correction within competence; 15. To analyze and explain relevant processes in the social sphere and social welfare; 16. To search for information from various sources for solving professional tasks; 17. To think systemically and to apply creative ability to generate new ideas; 18. Critically evaluate the obtained results, to handle and defend the decisions taken on the basis of actual / empirical data practices; 19. To provide professional objective information for Central and local public authorities, local governments, public organizations on issues of social development, formation and evaluation of social welfare services, social policy; 20.Conduct analytical, research activities to establish regional, local patterns and patterns of occurrence, development, resolution and prevention 21. Ability to self-autonomous professional work and perform professional tasks within multidisciplinary teams of specialists; 22. Ability to adapt to new situations and make decisions; 23. Ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen acquired and acquire new professional knowledge in accordance with the latest trends in the social sciences; 24. Ability to be responsible for the work being performed and to achieve the stated goal in accordance with the requirements of professional ethics.

Summary of the subject: The course outlines the general principles of quality management, the essence of the quality management system, specific features of quality management in social institutions of various types, current trends and global experience of quality management in social security are considered.
Опис: Methodological and regulatory preconditions system of social services. The essence of social care and social services in Ukraine. Principles of Social Service v. Types and forms of social services. The network of organizations involved in solving social problems in Ukraine. The system of specialized services of social assistance. Labor and Social Welfare and its role in the management of specialized services. The organizational forms of social work with older people. Principles, forms and methods of social work with older people. The purpose and objectives of the Centre for the reintegration of homeless people. Organization of the Center. The role of employment centers in social assistance to the unemployed. Centres of social services for families, children and youth and social work with young people in Ukraine. The role of services for children in child welfare. Shelter for children services for children. Legislature social protection of orphans in Ukraine. The social dormitories for orphans and children deprived of parental care. Centers of social and psychological assistance, social and psychological rehabilitation of children and youth with disabilities. The activities of AIDS centers in social work with people living with HIV / AIDS. Development of Integrated Social Services as an innovative model of social services.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Individual and group tasks(40%) • Final control (control measure, exam), written-oral form (60%)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Report: 5 points – correctness, logic, reasonableness, integrity of knowledge; – quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength; - correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus; - speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation); - the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions. Supplement: 2 points - a scientifically based statement that reveals the essence of phenomena, processes, patterns. Written answer during classroom independent work: 5 points – correctness, logic, reasonableness, integrity of knowledge; – quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength; - the formation of general educational and subject skills and abilities - the ability to integrate and synthesize knowledge from individual meaningful modules and topics - disclosure of cause-and-effect relationships between phenomena, processes; - the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions. Express survey: 2 points - a short correct answer without additional arguments.
