The purpose of studying the academic discipline Ensuring the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, public communications and regional studies or in the learning process, which involves the application of theories and methods of political science and the science of international relations and is characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions; acquisition by students of systematized, integral knowledge about international organizations as subjects of international relations; formation of scientifically based ideas about historical development, role, place of international organizations in the system of international relations and their influence on world political processes; acquisition by students of knowledge about the goals, principles, tasks, main areas of activity of international organizations; mechanisms of their functioning, typology of international organizations, their role in global and regional political processes; assimilation of knowledge about the organizational and functional structure of leading international intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations. creation of a holistic view of Ukraine's role in the functioning of international organizations of which it is a member.
Завдання: Tasks of the academic discipline in accordance with the educational program (OP). The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: Integral competence: The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, public communication and regional studies, foreign policy activities of states, international interactions between states, international organizations and non-state actors, characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions and involves the application of theories of social sciences and special scientific methods of researching problems of international relations General competences: • ZK2 - Ability to preserve and multiply moral, cultural, scientific values and achievements of society on the basis of understanding the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general system and knowledge about nature and society, and in the development of society, techniques and technologies, use different types and forms of motor activity for active recreation and leading a healthy lifestyle. (ZK2). • ZK5 - Ability to work in an international context. . In addition: • ZK3 - Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. • ZK4 - Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. • ZK1 - The ability to realize one's rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values of civil society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen of Ukraine. . Professional competences: • FK1 - Ability to distinguish signs and trends of development, understand the nature, dynamics, principles of organization of international relations, public communications and/or regional studies. • FK8 - Awareness of national interests of Ukraine in the international arena. • FK9 - The ability to apply knowledge of the characteristics of the development of countries and regions, features and regularities of global processes and the place of individual states in them to solve complex specialized tasks and problems. • FK11 - Ability to analyze the nature and evolution of international organizations, their place in the system of international relations, the main forms and perspectives of Ukraine's cooperation with them. • FK13 - Ability to analyze the activities of international non-state actors and transnational relations.
Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes: • -To know and understand the nature of international relations and regional development, evolution, the state of theoretical studies of international relations and world politics, as well as the nature and sources of state policy in the international arena and the activities of other participants in international relations. • -To know the nature of international cooperation, the nature of interaction between international actors, the ratio of governmental and non-governmental actors in world politics. • -To know the principles, mechanisms and processes of foreign policy, interaction between foreign and domestic policy, definition and implementation in the international arena of national interests, the process of formation and implementation of foreign policy decisions. In addition • -Apply their knowledge and skills to carry out professional activities in the field of foreign policy, diplomacy and public administration; • -Ability to analytical-critical thinking. -As a result of studying the discipline the student must: know: the essence of international organizations, features of their activities and functioning; approaches to the typology of international organizations; history of origin and main stages of development of the system of international organizations; mechanisms of functioning of international organizations, legal norms and principles of activity; features of the organizational and functional structure of international organizations and the specifics of decision-making; differences in the specifics of the functioning of intergovernmental and non-governmental international organizations; features of activity, specifics of nature, functions and classification of intergovernmental international organizations; features of activity, specifics of nature, functions and classification of non-governmental international organizations; history of origin, institutional and legal bases of creation; features of organizational and functional structure, directions of activity, principles of functioning of leading international organizations of global and regional levels (UN, its specialized agencies and bodies; NATO North Atlantic Treaty Organization; OSCE; EU; BSEC; CIS; GUAM; regional integration associations of Asia, America , Africa). Features of Ukraine's activity in international organizations of global type and in international regional organizations. Be able to: apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in assessing and analyzing the activities of international governmental and non-governmental organizations; determine the level of efficiency of functioning and activity of intergovernmental and non-governmental international organizations; assess the degree and extent of influence of international organizations on global and regional political processes; determine the mechanisms of influence of organizations on international relations and world politics; analyze the institutional and legal framework for the establishment and operation of international organizations; to determine the expediency (inexpediency) of Ukraine's participation in the activities of international organizations; to assess the activities and functioning of Ukraine in international organizations; to forecast prospects (or problems) of cooperation of our state with the leading international organizations

Summary of the subject: The study discipline "International Organizations" is an integral part of the cycle of mandatory disciplines of the specialty "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies" of the first level of higher education (bachelor's), the purpose of which is to acquire systematic, integral knowledge of international organizations as a sub- international relations; formation of students' scientifically based ideas about historical development, role, place of international, regional and subregional organizations in the system of international relations and their influence on world political processes; creating a holistic view of Ukraine's role in the functioning of international organizations of which it is a member and the cooperation of our state with other international and regional integration entities.

Assessment methods and criteria: Description of methods for assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes Oral and written surveys, discussion of problematic issues, analysis of reports, abstracts, presentations, essays. Evaluation of the student's knowledge and skills based on the results of studying the educational material is performed on a 100-point scale according to the following criteria: 100 – 88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge of the educational material, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their relationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions under time to solve practical problems; 87 – 80 points – (“very good”) is awarded for knowledge of the educational material above the average level, reasoned answers to the questions asked (a small number of inaccuracies are possible), the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 79–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 70 – 61 points – (“mediocre”) is given for mediocre knowledge of the educational material of the component, poorly reasoned answers, weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 60–50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the educational material of the component, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, practical problems; 49–00 points – (“unsatisfactory” with the possibility of retaking the semester control) awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions during
