Мета вивчення дисципліни: the formation of students' system knowledge and understanding of the conceptual foundations of logistics and supply chain management, the theory and practice of the development of this direction in the countries of the European Union and the experience of the implementation of the best logistics practices by leading European companies, as well as the acquisition of skills and abilities of adequate logistics thinking and logistics behavior when adopting logistics solutions in modern conditions
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general: - the ability to learn and master modern knowledge of management theory in the field of logistics and supply chain management; - the ability to develop adequate solutions in the field of logistics based on formed logistic thinking; - the ability to make informed logistical decisions during the implementation of the best examples of European experience in the logistics industry of Ukraine professional: - the ability to choose and use modern logistics tools; - the ability to analyze and structure the problems of the organization, to form reasonable logistical solutions; - the ability to choose and practically apply modern information and communication technologies in the management of supply chains
Learning outcomes: Following the completion of the Credit the student must: - know: experience of European countries in applying logistics and role of logistics in reforming the economy of Ukraine; scientific and practical concepts and technologies of European companies; principles of supply chains functioning in the context of European integration; the best examples of European logistics practice; prospects for the development of logistics and supply chains in Europe and in the world. - be able to: identify the impact of logistics on the process of reforming the economy of Ukraine; identify the role of supply chain in the European countries from a strategic and operating point of view; apply the scientific and practical concepts and technologies of European companies when considerating the practical situational tasks (cases) on the course topics and searching for ways to solve problems in a simulated real situation in logistics activities of domestic and European companies.

Summary of the subject: The study of the discipline is aimed at the formation of students' systemic knowledge and understanding of the conceptual foundations of logistics and supply chain management through the prism of studying European logistics standards and the best examples of European practice in the field of logistics, as well as acquiring the skills and abilities of adequate logistics thinking and logistics behavior when making logistics decisions in modern conditions in the context of European integration processes
Опис: Logistics is a market economy instrument. Experience of European countries in the application of logistics. Fundamental principles of logistics. Supply chain. Principles of supply chains functioning in the context of European integration. Integration of logistics processes in supply chains: experience of logistics development in EU countries. Logistics in the strategic supply chains development: features of logistics development in EU countries. Role of logistics in the strategic supply chains development. Achieving competitive advantages by supply chains: European experience. Prospects of logistics and supply chains development in Europe and in the world.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes include: 1. Assessment of students in practical classes (assessment of participation in business games, solving analytical tasks based on consideration of practical cases and situational exercises; participation in discussions, summarizing the issues considered in the practical class); 2. Control work (fulfillment of an individual task (optional) and its protection); 3. Final assessment of student knowledge using computer testing in the Virtual Learning Environment at https://vns.lpnu.ua/course/view.php?id=10868)

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: The final semester grade on a 100-point scale is converted into a state grade according to the system adopted at the University: • 88-100 points – "excellent"; • 71-87 points – "good"; • 50-70 points – "satisfactory"; • 0-49 points – "not satisfactory". • The grade "excellent" (88-100 points) is awarded for complete, systematized knowledge. The student must correctly answer the assigned tasks and solve the practical tasks, minor mechanical errors are allowed that do not significantly distort the overall result of the practical tasks. • The grade "good" (71-87 points) assumes that, in general, having mastered the material, the student answers most of the tasks correctly and makes minor inaccuracies and individual errors when solving practical problems. • A grade of "satisfactory" (50-70 points) is given to a student who has significant deficiencies in solving assigned tasks and has gaps in practical knowledge, but tried to solve tasks where he could have made mistakes. • The grade "unsatisfactory" (less than 50 points) is assigned to a student who does not understand the essence of the questions, does not know the basic concepts of the subject and did not answer them correctly.
