Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education:
INTEGRAL COMPETENCE:
The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, social communication and regional studies, foreign policy activities of states, international interactions between states, international organizations and non-state actors, characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions and involves the application of theories of social sciences and special scientific methods of researching problems of international relations.
GENERAL COMPETENCES:
• ZK2 – Ability to preserve and multiply moral, cultural, scientific values and achievements of society based on understanding the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general system and knowledge about nature and society, and in the development of society, technology and technologies, use different types and forms of motor activity for active recreation and leading a healthy lifestyle. (ZK2).

• ZK6–Ability to generate new ideas (creativity). (ZK6).

• FC1–Ability to distinguish signs and trends of development, understand the nature, dynamics, principles of organization of international relations, public communications and/or regional studies. (FK1).
• FC12 – Ability to carry out communication and information-analytical activities in the field of international relations (in Ukrainian and foreign languages). (FC12).
• FK14–Ability to analyze regional and cross-border cooperation, in particular, regional cooperation of the EU, as well as the development of international regional and cross-border cooperation of Ukraine. (FC14).

• FK10–Ability to analyze the structure and dynamics of international public communications, identify their impact on the international system, state and public institutions. (FC10).
Learning outcomes: Learning Outcomes:
• To know the nature and mechanisms of international communications.
• To carry out a description and analysis of the international situation, collect from various sources the necessary information about international and foreign policy events and processes.
• To collect, process and analyze large amounts of information on the state of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, regional systems, international communications.
• To investigate the problems of international relations, regional development, foreign policy, international communications, using modern political, economic and legal theories and concepts, scientific methods and interdisciplinary approaches, present research results, provide appropriate recommendations.
• To speak fluently in the native and foreign languages at the professional level required for professional discussion, preparation of analytical and research documents.
• To conduct a professional discussion on the problems of international relations, international communications, regional studies, foreign policy, argue their position, respect opponents and their views.
• Ability in communication to defend the patriotic state position on the place of Ukraine in the system of international relations;

Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Strategic communications in international relations" is an integral component of the cycle of disciplines of the specialty "International relations, public communications and regional studies" of the first level of higher education (bachelor's degree), the purpose of which is for students to acquire fundamental knowledge, skills and abilities for the successful performance of professional responsibilities in the field of communications at the international, regional and national levels. The task of the discipline is to provide systematized, holistic knowledge and practical skills for the development and implementation of effective communication strategies using modern information and communication technologies and the tools of information and analytical work.
The educational discipline "Strategic communications in international relations" provides students with a holistic understanding of the mechanisms of communication and the functioning of information flows in the field of international relations; about the specifics and peculiarities of communicative activity in the system of international relations; providing future international specialists with systematized and empirically based ideas about the system of foreign policy communications, types of communication technologies and the specifics of communicative activity in international relations, about the specifics of implementing the communication strategy of foreign policy entities using modern information and communication technologies, as well as acquiring practical skills in the application of foreign policy information and communication technologies

Soft Power policy in the modern system of international communications: essence, features, forms, channels and mechanisms of realization.
Public diplomacy as a form of soft power policy implementation and an element (component) of the system of strategic communications in international relations.
Cultural diplomacy as a form of soft power policy implementation and an element (component) of the system of strategic communications in international relations.
Image and brand communication. Image diplomacy in strategic international communications.
Advertising communications and advertising strategies in the political sphere and international relations.
Information and analytical documents in the practice of international communications.

Evaluation of the student's knowledge and skills based on the results of studying the educational material is performed on a 100-point scale according to the following criteria:
100 – 88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge of the educational material, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their relationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions under time to solve practical problems;
87 – 80 points – (“very good”) is awarded for knowledge of the educational material above the average level, reasoned answers to the questions asked (a small number of inaccuracies are possible), the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
79–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
70 – 61 points – (“mediocre”) is given for mediocre knowledge of the educational material of the component, poorly reasoned answers, weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
60–50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the educational material of the component, inaccurate or poorly reasoned
answers, practical problems;
49–00 points – (“unsatisfactory” with the possibility of retaking the semester control) awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions during
