Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education:
Integral competence: The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, public communication and regional studies, foreign policy activities of states, international interactions between states, international organizations and non-state actors, characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions and involves the application of theories of social sciences and special scientific methods of researching problems of international relations
General competences:
• ZK1. The ability to realize one's rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to be aware of the values of civil society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen of Ukraine;
• ZK2 - Ability to preserve and multiply moral, cultural, scientific values and achievements of society on the basis of understanding the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general system and knowledge about nature and society, and in the development of society, techniques and technologies, use different types and forms of motor activity for active recreation and leading a healthy lifestyle.
• ZK5 - Ability to work in an international context.
Professional competences:
• FK1 - Ability to distinguish signs and trends of development, understand the nature, dynamics, principles of organization of international relations, public communications and/or regional studies.
• FK4. The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, foreign policy of states, public communications, regional studies.
• FK7. The ability to analyze international integration processes in the world and on the European continent, and the place of Ukraine in them.
• FK8. Awareness of the national interests of Ukraine in the international arena.
• FK9. The ability to apply knowledge of the characteristics of the development of countries and regions, features and regularities of global processes and the place of individual states in them to solve complex specialized tasks and problems.
• FC15. Ability to analyze features, development trends, forms, methods and tools of state regulation of regional and cross-border cooperation.
Learning outcomes: Know the nature of international cooperation, the nature of interaction between international actors, the ratio of state and non-state actors in world politics.
• Know the principles, mechanisms and processes of foreign policy, interaction between foreign and domestic policy, definition and implementation in the international arena of national interests, the process of formation and implementation of foreign policy decisions.
• Know the nature and nature of interactions of individual countries and regions at the global, regional and local levels.
• Carry out an applied analysis of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, international processes and the international situation in accordance with the objectives, prepare information and analytical.
• Understand and defend the national interests of Ukraine in international activities.To study the nature, sources and institutions of foreign policy of states, features of their functioning and interaction.
• Investigate and analyze social, legal, cultural, economic factors influencing political decision-making at the domestic and international levels.
• Know the basic theoretical approaches to understanding regionalism, the main categories, concepts, technologies and methods of studying regionalism in the field of international relations.
• Know and understand the basics of modern European regional policy, priorities, models and instruments of EU regional development, modern regional integration and disintegration processes.
• Know the basics of state regional policy of Ukraine, features of its implementation and regulatory mechanisms, decision-making technologies in the field of regional and cross-border cooperation.

№ 619891-EPP-1-2020-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE. The aim of introducing a new interactive interdisciplinary course in European studies is to study the principles and principles of EU foreign policy and its significance for the eastern neighbors, in particular, the resource potential of the EaP for Ukraine's European integration course.
Course content:
Genesis and evolution of EU eastern policy. The conceptual dimension of the Eastern Partnership. Political interest of EU member states in the development of the Eastern Partnership initiative. Eastern Partnership member states and the specifics of their cooperation with the EU. Ukraine in the coordinates of the Eastern Partnership: results and prospects of implementation of the initiative. The EU's Eastern Partnership in modern realities: problems and prospects

Assessment methods and criteria: Planned learning activities and teaching methods: lectures, interactive seminars (brainstorming, discussion, case studies, teamwork, debate, simulation games, mediation, video, audio and photo tools), student project (project management), participation in events ( media library, youth forum, video contest, simulation games, conference, guest speakers, etc.).

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
