Мета вивчення дисципліни: Ensuring the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, public communications and regional studies or in the learning process, which involves the application of theories and methods of political science and the science of international relations and is characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions;
Завдання: Integral competence: The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, public communication and regional studies, foreign policy activities of states, international interactions between states, international organizations and non-state actors, characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions and involves the application of theories of social sciences and special scientific methods of researching problems of international relations General competences: • ZK2 - Ability to preserve and multiply moral, cultural, scientific values and achievements of society on the basis of understanding the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general system and knowledge about nature and society, and in the development of society, techniques and technologies, use different types and forms of motor activity for active recreation and leading a healthy lifestyle. (ZK2). • ZK5 - Ability to work in an international context. In addition: • ZK3 - Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. • ZK4 - Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. • ZK1 - The ability to realize one's rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values of civil society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen of Ukraine. . Professional competences: • FK1 - Ability to distinguish signs and trends of development, understand the nature, dynamics, principles of organization of international relations, public communications and/or regional studies. • FK2. Ability to analyze international processes in various contexts, including political, security, legal, economic, social, cultural and informational. • FK3. The ability to assess the state and directions of research in international relations and world politics in political, economic, legal sciences, in interdisciplinary studies. • FK7. The ability to analyze international integration processes in the world and on the European continent, and the place of Ukraine in them. • FK8. Awareness of the national interests of Ukraine in the international arena. • FK9. The ability to apply knowledge of the characteristics of the development of countries and regions, features and regularities of global processes and the place of individual states in them to solve complex specialized tasks and problems. • FK10. The ability to analyze the structure and dynamics of international public communications, to identify their impact on the international system, state and public institutions. • FK11. The ability to analyze the nature and evolution of international organizations, their place in the system of international relations, the main forms and prospects of Ukraine's cooperation with them.
Learning outcomes: PH02. To know and understand the nature and dynamics of international security, to understand the peculiarities of its provision at the global, regional and national level, to know the nature and approaches to solving international and internationalized conflicts. PH03. To know the nature of international cooperation, the nature of interaction between international actors, the ratio of state and non-state actors in world politics. PH04. To know the principles, mechanisms and processes of ensuring the foreign policy of states, the interaction between foreign and domestic policies, the definition and implementation of the national interests of states on the international arena, the process of forming and implementing foreign policy decisions. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge; RNVB 1.6 Understand the geopolitical dimension of international relations, analyze modern political processes.

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Social standards of the EU countries" is aimed at forming students' general understanding of the social standards and social policy of the European Union, the institutional and legal mechanism of ensuring the social policy of the EU, problems, challenges and prospects of guaranteeing the social policy of the EU, the integral indicator of the human development index in the EU countries , as well as the happiness index as objective criteria for the development of the social sphere of the EU states; formation of independent thinking skills and analysis of features and regularities of the development of the world's main structures and their influence on the social policy of the EU, as well as the formation of a holistic idea among students about the social sphere of Ukraine, the peculiarities of its development, challenges and threats at the current stage.
Опис: Course content: The notion of social policy and its types. Financing social policy. Documentary and institutional framework of social policy. Human Development. Models of social protection. Ways of improving the level of human development in Ukraine. The labor market and employment. Poverty and ways to overcome it. Social policy and social protection in Ukraine.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
