Мета вивчення дисципліни: formation of students' ability to solve complex tasks and problems during professional activities in the field of international relations, as well as consideration and research of theoretical and conceptual approaches to the consideration and analysis of cross-border cooperation, as a process of equalizing the quality of life of the population of border areas and bringing it to the average European level , as well as the study of TCS problems, which are accompanied by Euroregionalization as an important stage on the way to the European integration of Ukraine. ; acquisition by students of systematized, integral knowledge about cross-border programs; formation of scientifically based ideas about the historical development of countries and regions, global, regional and local processes and Ukraine's place in them; acquisition by students of knowledge about the goals, principles, tasks, main areas of activity of regional and cross-border programs of the Ukrainian and European border.
Завдання: Integral competence: the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of international relations, public communication and regional studies, foreign policy activities of states, international interactions between states, international organizations and non-state actors, characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions and involves the application of theories of social sciences and special scientific methods of researching problems of international relations. Professional competences: • FK1 - Ability to identify signs and trends of development, understand the nature, dynamics, principles of cross-border cooperation and international relations, public communications and/or regional studies. • FCS2.1 Ability to use theoretical provisions in practice to analyze specific areas of international relations and trends in their development; • FCS2.2 Ability to describe objects and analyze processes and specific situations in the field of international relations and foreign policy through the prism of historical and geopolitical approaches; • FCS2.3 The ability to use the acquired knowledge and skills to study the nature, sources and institutions of the foreign policy of states, the peculiarities of their functioning and interactions based on the comparativist method; • FCS2.4 Ability to understand and take into account social, legal, cultural, economic factors that influence political decision-making at the domestic and international levels; • FCS2.5 The ability to develop approaches to solving problems and tasks in the field of international relations and foreign policy (in particular, international and domestic conflicts) • FCS2.6 the ability to understand and develop approaches to solving problems and tasks in the field of regional and cross-border cooperation of the Western Ukrainian region;; • FCS2.7 Understanding the specifics of the latest forms of diplomatic activity. 2.3. Learning outcomes in accordance with the educational program, learning and teaching methods, methods of evaluating the achievement of learning outcomes. As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: • PH04. To know the principles, mechanisms and processes of ensuring the foreign policy of states, the interaction between foreign and domestic policies, the definition and implementation of the national interests of states on the international arena, the process of forming and implementing foreign policy decisions. • PH06. To know the nature and character of interactions of individual countries and regions at the global, regional and local levels. • РН019 Know the features, development trends, forms, methods and tools of state regulation of regional and cross-border cooperation, international cooperation of regions • RNVB 2.7 Carry out an applied analysis of the development of regional and cross-border cooperation.
Learning outcomes: • acquisition by students of systematized, integral knowledge about regional and cross-border cooperation; • formation of scientifically based ideas about the development and formation of cross-border cooperation, its role and place in the system of international relations and influence on world and regional political processes; • students' acquisition of knowledge about goals, principles, tasks, main directions of cross-border cooperation and formation mechanisms; • acquiring knowledge about the essence and features of regional and cross-border cooperation; • assimilation of knowledge about the main patterns of cross-border cooperation; • the ability to analyze and identify the main areas of cross-border cooperation; • acquiring the skills to analyze the perspectives of cross-border projects in the context of European integration processes.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (40%): oral interviews, presentations at seminars, participation in discussions, business games, group classes, case studies, preparation of presentations on a given topic, student projects, essays, participation in discussions. Examination control (60%) - three-level testing.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The answer is deep, clear, concise and comprehensive, with a demonstration of comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the program material - 10-9 points; The answer demonstrates proper knowledge of a significant part of the material on the question; the student made mistakes and minor inaccuracies - 8-6 points; The answer proves the student's sufficient understanding of the material, but also the inability to systematically build it, present and justify his own opinion - 5-3 points; The answer proves insufficient knowledge and understanding of the main material - 2-1 points. There is no answer or the student demonstrates complete misunderstanding of the essence of the question - 0 points. ** The maximum number of points for writing and defending an essay is 10 points. The abstract is written clearly, succinctly and comprehensively using an analytical approach of 10 points; There is a certain inconsistency of the presentation, during the defense of the essay, the student did not make any significant inaccuracies - 6-4 points; The answer proves insufficient knowledge and understanding of the main material, contains errors and significant inaccuracies - 3-1 points; The abstract does not correspond to the given topic - 0 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
