Learning outcomes: • to know the specifics of the practical psychologist in different fields of social practice (the education system, law enforcement agencies, medical institutions and economic institutions); • to be able to plan the types and forms of work of the psychologist in a particular field of activity; • analyze psychological research and actions of the psychologist regarding their ethical compliance with Ukrainian and international standards; • to have an idea about the main provisions of international and regional documents on human rights and child, legislation on the socio-psychological service of Ukraine.

Summary of the subject: The place of psychology in the system of anthropology-the Structure and basic problems of applied psychology International and regional instruments on human rights Legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the socio-psychological services Characteristic of the profession of practical psychologist Model of personality of a practical psychologist of the Psychological service of the industrial enterprises and small business organizations Psychological service of the education system Principal activities of the counselling service: outreach, advocacy, and prevention. Principal activities of socio-psychological services: psychological counseling.Principal activities of socio-psychological services: psycho-diagnostic work psychological correction.General characteristics of psychotherapy as a component of practical psychology. Characteristics of the main branches of psychotherapy peculiarities of training of psychologists at the UNIVERSITY.Professional self psychologist after graduation. The prospect of psychological education and professional development of a psychologist abroad.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral examination, rapid testing, quality of written practical tasks; • final control: based on current estimates a 100-point scale.
