Learning outcomes: - know methodological and theoretical principles of psychological practice, basic principles of counseling, perspective aims and tasks of counseling, dynamics and structure of consultative process: stages, basic effects and phenomena of counseling, typical errors of consultant, feature of counseling children and teenagers, features of counseling group and families, basic ideas, concepts and methods, applied in the psychoanalytic, behavior and humanistic counseling, bases of professional ethics. - be able to conduct and analyze consultative conversation, to have own skills (verbal and unverbal) of support of contact, to use base skills of the active listening in conversation, to have own the technique to receive and analyze of information in counseling, to put forward the hypothesis about character of problems of client, to analyze an example of psychotherapeutic effects in counseling, to analyze texts from the list of literature.
Required prior and related subjects: - General psychology; - Psychology of personality; - Introduction to specialty; - Social psychology.
Summary of the subject: Determination and whole counseling. General issues of the psychological advising. Personality of con-sultant. Procedures and technicians of counseling. Types of the psychological counseling, counseling, contact. Technical side of counseling co-operation. Process of the psychological counseling. Estimation of problems of client. Basic consulting skills and technicians. Working with resistance in counseling. Direc-tions of the practical counseling and psychotherapy. Humanism tradition. Features of counseling children and teenagers. Features counseling of the groups and families. Some special problems of the psychological counseling.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control (40 % ): verbal questioning, writing reportsfrom practical works; - final control (60 %, examination): maximal estimation is 100 points.

Learning outcomes: 1. To master the content of such concepts as "psychological problem", "client situation", "examination of the situation," "ethics of psychological research", "research program", "correction program", "experimental interaction", "strategy research", " diagnostic findings, "" interpretation of research "," research protocol "and so on. 2. Deepen theoretical and practical knowledge of students in the field of diagnostic, remedial and counseling. 3. To promote the formation of individual style of professional, personal approach to planning, conducting research and correctional programs, counseling sessions. 4. To form skills integrated vision of psychological problems and their determinants.
