Learning outcomes: - theoretical and methodological principles and conceptual and terminological apparatus of the discipline;
- ethical principles, conditions and factors of effective counseling;
- the general structure of the consultative process;
- procedural and psychotechnical aspects of psychological counseling;
- modern latest trends in the development of psychological counseling and psychotherapy.
Required prior and related subjects: psychotherapy,
psychology of counseling,
psychodiagnostics.
Summary of the subject: 1. Formation of students' knowledge of the scope of psychological counseling, basic methods and models of counseling in view of the code of ethics of a psychologist.
2. Formation of students' skills in conducting a consultative process in various fields.
3. Mastering by students of methods and techniques of counseling within ethical norms.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control (40%): written reports of practical work, oral examination.
- final control (60% of exam): the maximum score - 100 points.
