Learning outcomes: Ability to form a system of thorough knowledge and skills to ensure effective communication at the organizational and interpersonal levels, constructive negotiation, building an internal communication system. Effective management of communication processes in the organization: search and identification of obstacles on the way to effective communication; development and implementation of ways to eliminate obstacles and improve the quality of communication. Have ways to organize the management of internal and external communications of the organization.

Summary of the subject: Features of communications in the organization. Communication management in the organization. Communication process, elements and stages of the process. Interpersonal and organizational communications. Communication process: model; main stages (idea, message coding, message transmission, understanding); basic elements (sender, channel, recipient). Feedback and "noise" in the communication process. Methods of communication (oral, written, nonverbal), their advantages and disadvantages. Between level communications: from top to bottom, from bottom to top, horizontal, diagonal. Formal and informal communications. Communication networks. Obstacles to effective communication: filtering, selective perception, semantic barriers, poor feedback, sociocultural differences between sender and recipient, information overload. Ways to overcome obstacles. Strategies to increase the efficiency of communications.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral examination, rapid testing, quality of written practical tasks; • final control: based on current estimates a 100-point scale.
