Learning outcomes: 1. To know the possibilities, features of work and use of analog technology. 2. Know the features, features of work and use of digital technology. 3. Know the structure and operation of microprocessors and microcontrollers their capabilities and features of use 4. Be able to use and operate typical control system circuits 5. Be able to design control systems based on analog, digital and microprocessor technology. 6. Be able to implement algorithms for microcontrollers using the environment.

Summary of the subject: General information about analog technique. Optical amplifier. Basic schematics of inclusion. Multi-stage amplifiers. Analog converters of electrical signals General information about microprocessor technology Prerequisites for using microprocessor technology in automated equipment. General concepts of hardware and software of microprocessor management. Digital technology Combination logic circuits. Logical circuits with memory. Triggers, registers, counters, encoders, decoders, multiplexers, demultiplexers. Programmable logic matrices, receivers, transmitters, bus formers Microprocessors in control systems. Architecture of microprocessors and microcomputer. Operational and control machines with "hard" logic and firmware control automata. Input Input Output. Interrupt system. Direct memory access (PLP). Features of PIC16F programming Interfaces General information about interfaces. Classification of interfaces. Main features of interfaces: information compatibility, electrical compatibility and interoperability. Principles of organization of interfaces: the composition of the interface interface - the concept of communication lines, bus and trunk.Synchronization of data exchange: synchronization of words, synchronization of word bits, synchronization of arrays of words. Programmable controllers. Architecture and organization of industrial programmable logic controllers. Using a single-chip microcomputer to create programmable controllers for management tasks. Examples of controllers implementation. Controller of control of a soaking drum. Programmable controllers Zelio. Programmable Siemens controllers.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Current control (15%): written reports on laboratory work, oral questioning, written control papers (CPR). • Final control (85%, exam): testing.
