Learning outcomes: • know the technique of choosing the main parameters of the vehicle taking into account the requirements for operational properties, which are studied in the discipline; method of calculation of research of stability, controllability and fluidity of the movement of the vehicle and its braking properties; influence of design and operational factors on listed operational properties of the car. • be able to define the basic parameters of the vehicle in the process of design; to calculate indicators of stability, controllability, and fluidity of the movement of the vehicle and its braking properties.

Summary of the subject: One-dimensional dynamics of the car. The kinematics of the vehicle. The vehicle dynamics. Vibration of the car. Optimization of the braking process of the vehicle.
