Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the discipline is to provide students with fundamental knowledge in the field of metrology, measuring techniques and methods of measuring electrical quantities, necessary for successful mastering by students of their own and related disciplines of the educational process, training of specialists in research, design and production-technical activities in the field of electric power, electrical engineering and electromechanics.
Завдання: general competences: • ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis; • ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources; • ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. professional competences: • the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems related to problems of metrology, electrical measurements, operation of automatic control devices, relay protection and automation; • the ability to develop projects of electric power, electrotechnical and electromechanical equipment in compliance with the requirements of legislation, standards and specifications; • Awareness of the need to constantly expand one's own knowledge about new technologies in electric power, electrical engineering and electromechanics;
Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes: • Know the modern measuring equipment, their main characteristics and metrological applications; • To be able to choose the method of measurement and measuring equipment for measuring specific physical quantity; • to process experimental data in order to obtain reliable measurement results

Summary of the subject: The content of the module: Concepts of metrology and measurement technology. Analog gauges direct transformation. Electronic oscilloscopes. Digital gauges. Converters of electrical quantities. Measurement of current, voltage, Resistance and capacity. Measuring magnetic variables. Measurement and control of non-electrical quantities. Methods: lectures, practical classes, laboratory practicum independent work
Опис: TOPIC 1. Process and means of measurement. TOPIC 2. Systems of electrical measuring devices. TOPIC 3. Digital measuring devices. TOPIC 4. Electronic oscilloscopes. TOPIC 5. Converters of electrical quantities. TOPIC 6. Measurement of resistances. TOPIC 7. Measuring the power of direct and single-phase current. TOPIC 8. Measurement of magnetic quantities. TOPIC 9. Measurement and control of non-electric quantities.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. written reports on laboratory course, oral questioning and individual task (25%). 2. final control: exam. (75%)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Recurring control (PC) - 25b. Examination control - 75b. : written component 70 p., oral component - 5b.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: The flowing control at laboratory classes, which is conducted in the form of a frontal oral survey before the beginning of classes, is intended to diagnose the assimilation of lecture material and the readiness of students for laboratory classes, during the defense of laboratory works, the quality of the presentation of the results of experiments is evaluated (10 b). Final control of knowledge is conducted in the form of an exam.
