Завдання: The study of the discipline involves the formation of students' necessary competencies: general competencies: 1. Ability to analyze religious processes and their impact on modern society; 2. Ability to be critical and self-critical to understand the factors that have a positive or negative impact on interfaith and interfaith communication; 3. Ability to identify problematic issues while maintaining a critical attitude to both traditional and modern approaches, based on the analysis of information from different sources, to show consistency and integrity of thinking; professional competencies: 1. Critically comprehend and process information on the most influential and widespread religious trends, with a view to further use in professional activities 2. Ability to practically solve religious problems in the context of informational contradictions, based on the constitutional and legal norms of freedom of conscience; 3. Ability to show the organic unity of religion with all forms of modern processes; 4. Ability to determine the features of the interfaith state of modern Ukrainian society and give them an assessment;
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 2.3. Learning outcomes in accordance with the educational program, methods of teaching and learning, methods of assessing the achievement of learning outcomes - - As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: know: - the spread of the most influential religions in the world; - the most common religions and cults in Ukraine; - religious teachings on the social challenges of today; - cultural, social, educational activities of religious organizations; be able: - outline the first features of religion; - highlight the main features of dogma and worship of the most common modern religions (including world religions); - to identify the leading trends in the modern development of religion in Ukraine. - As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PH1: Ability to adapt to new conditions, make decisions independently and initiate original research and innovation complex projects); ability to formulate one's own worldview from general religious and philosophical concepts. Teaching and learning methods: Lectures, seminars, reproductive method, heuristic method, problem statement method, independent work - reproductive method, research method. Methods for assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes: Current control - performance and defense of practical work, oral and frontal questioning). PH2: Ability to act consciously and socially responsibly, guided in their activities by the principles of tolerance, openness, cooperation, creative dialogue and mutual respect for others. Teaching and learning methods: Lectures and seminars: heuristic method; method of problem statement. Independent work: reproductive method. Methods for assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes: Current control. Methods of knowledge assessment: selective oral examination; presentations at seminars, discussions at seminars, evaluation of activity, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, etc. PH3: Ability to think creatively, critically, logically and consistently using various theories, concepts and ideas (foreign and domestic thinkers and schools) in the process of solving social and professional problems. Teaching and learning methods: Lectures and seminars: heuristic method; method of problem statement. Independent work: reproductive method and communicative. Methods for assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes: Current control. Methods of knowledge assessment: selective oral examination; presentations at seminars, discussions at seminars, evaluation of activity, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, etc.
Required prior and related subjects: Philosophy, history of statehood and culture of Ukraine. Political Studies.
Summary of the subject: The discipline "The role of religion in modern information processes" includes consideration of the most important issues, problems, preconditions for the historical origin and current state of the most influential religions. The proposed course deals with the significant influence of religion and religiosity on the formation of the worldview of modern youth in the complex spiritual life of Ukraine.

Assessment methods and criteria: - observation of educational and cognitive activities; - oral examination (individual and frontal) - written control of knowledge and skills is carried out with the help of written works (written answers to questions, essays, individual works); - presentations; - practical verification of completed tasks; ? thematic and test control, etc.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: - Current control (70%): interrogation, control work, test, reports - Test (30%).
