Завдання: The study of the discipline involves the formation of competencies from education: General competences: ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis (ZK1); the ability to apply knowledge in practical situations (ZK2); ability to search, process and analyze information from different sources (ZK5); the ability to identify, put and solve problems (ZK6); ability to work in a team (ZK7); ability to work autonomously (ZK8); professional competences: • the ability to solve practical problems with the use of automated design and calculation systems (FC1);. • the ability to solve practical problems with the involvement of methods of mathematics, physics and electrical engineering (FC2); • the ability to solve complex specialized problems and practical problems related to the operation of electrical systems and networks (FC3); • the ability to solve complex specialized problems and practical problems related to the problems of production, transmission and distribution of electricity (FC6); • awareness of the need to constantly expand their own knowledge of new technologies in electricity, electrical engineering and electromechanics (FC10);
Learning outcomes: - to know the functional setting, descriptions of basic elements of EM and their chart of substitution; - to know the traditional and formalized methods of calculation of withstand modes; • able to expect the parameters of charts of substituting for the elements of electric networks; • able to expect and analyse basic operating withstand modes of electric networks; • able to expect the losses of power and energy in electric networks; • to know about basic prospects and directions of development of EM.

Summary of the subject: Generals. Charts of substitution, parameters and modes of elements of electric networks, calculation of their parameters. Stowage of calculation charts of electric networks. An electric network has traditional methods of calculation of потокорозподілу. Calculation loading of knots of electric network. A calculation of losses of power is in an electric network. Analysis of withstand modes of electric network.

Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory and calculation works, oral questioning (30%) • final control - exam: written and oral form (70%)

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
