Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying an academic discipline is to form the necessary skills in students competences through their acquisition of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities, sufficient for the successful performance of professional duties to ensure effective application of methods, methods and means of analysis and planning of established regimes electrical systems.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation of higher education seekers competencies: general competences: ? ability to analyze and synthesize (ZK4); ? have research skills in the analysis and regulation of stable electrical modes systems (ZK7); ? the ability to solve set tasks for planning stable electrical modes systems and make relevant decisions during their management (ZK9); 5 professional competences: ? the ability to investigate the problem and determine limitations, including conditional ones problems of sustainable development, impact on the environment and safety vital activities during the planning of modes of electrical systems (FC2); ? knowledge of modern technological processes and technological training systems production, transmission and distribution of electricity for analysis and regulation established modes of electrical systems (FC6); ? ability to use knowledge and skills for calculation, research and analysis established modes of electrical systems (FC11); ? the ability to design systems and their elements taking into account all aspects of the delivered tasks, including creation, debugging, operation, maintenance and disposal (FCS3); ? the ability to argue the choice of methods for solving specialized analysis problems, planning and regulation of established modes of electrical systems, critical evaluate the obtained results and defend the decisions made (FCS4).
Learning outcomes: • to know the principles of construction and circuit realization of electrical systems, the basic modes of their operation and means of regulation; • to know the devices of systems of automatic control of excitation of synchronous machines, voltage, reactive power, frequency and active power flows; • to know the devices of systems of automatic control of excitation of synchronous machines, voltage, reactive power, frequency and flows of active power; • be able to analyze the modes of operation of the electrical networks and the characteristics of the control systems, to evaluate their impact on the electricity quality indicators; •. be able to analyze the modes of operation of the electrical networks and the characteristics of the control systems, to evaluate their impact on the electricity quality indicators.
Required prior and related subjects: prerequisites: Electric networks; Electric machines; Electrical parts of stations and substations; Electrotechnical power systems; related and the following: Automation of electrical networks; Relay protection of electrical networks; Stability of power systems; Computer analysis of power systems modes.
Summary of the subject: The general questions of the application of methods, methods and means of calculation are presented, analysis, planning and regulation of established modes of electrical systems and their impact on quality of electrical energy.
Опис: Features of operation of the power system. The need to analyze the modes of electrical systems and their regulation devices. Power Management Hierarchy. Man in the control system. General characteristics of electrical networks and systems and their modes. Classification of electrical networks and systems. Modes of electrical networks and systems. Tasks and methods of analysis of modes of electrical systems. Classification of automatic control devices. Excitation of synchronous machines. Voltage regulation with capacitors and synchronous compensators. Voltage regulation by shunt reactors, static thyristor compensators. Voltage regulation at substation. Automatic frequency control in the system and at the power plant. Automatic control of power flows.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control - implementation and protection of calculation and graphic, control and laboratory work. Knowledge assessment methods: selective oral survey; tests, assessment activities, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, etc. Examination control - oral and written components.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • written reports on laboratory and calculation works, oral questioning (40%); • final control - exam: written and oral form (60%).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
