Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline "Complete devices of power supply systems" is the formation of the necessary competencies in students, assimilation and deepening of knowledge by students about the structure, arrangement of the main types of electrical equipment of power supply systems; formation of theoretical knowledge and mastery of organizational issues and modern technical methods of installation, adjustment, testing and rational operation of electrical equipment.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: • ability to analyze and synthesize; • ability to apply knowledge in practice; • the ability to search and analyze information from various sources; • the ability to solve tasks and make appropriate decisions; • potential for further education; professional competences: • basic knowledge of scientific concepts, theories and methods necessary for understanding the principles of operation and functional purpose of electric power, electrotechnical and electromechanical systems and their equipment; • ability to apply and integrate knowledge and understanding of other engineering disciplines; • the ability to use knowledge and skills for calculation, research, selection, implementation, repair, and design of electric power, electrotechnical, and electromechanical systems and their components; • the ability to argue the choice of methods for solving specialized problems, critically evaluate the obtained results and defend the decisions made.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: • the ability to name the main equipment of power supply systems and describe its construction; • the ability to describe the main parameters and complete electrical equipment of power supply systems; • the ability to check the completeness of the equipment of power supply systems. • to classify the equipment of complete installations of power supply systems and its elements; • choose elements of complete electrical equipment of power supply companies; • draw a conclusion regarding the possibility and conditions of operation of the complete equipment of power supply systems. • develop diagrams of complete equipment of power supply systems or its parts; • calculate the equipment parameters of power supply systems; • calculate the optimal parameters of complete electrical equipment of power supply systems. • design complete electrical equipment for reliable operation of power supply systems. • to recommend the complete equipment of the equipment for the power supply system; • to make a decision regarding the possibility of further operation of the equipment of the power supply system.

Summary of the subject: Concepts of arrangement of complete power supply systems and methods of their calculations are considered. The most important problems, disadvantages and advantages of using complete devices are outlined, as well as the procedure for calculating their main indicators. Features of design, assembly and operation of complete devices in power supply systems are given. Economic aspects of the influence on the reliability of power supply systems and the quality of electric energy from the use of complete devices are considered.

Brands of power and control cables. Marking of cables and cable lines Connection, branching and termination of aluminum and copper conductors of wires and cables Connecting couplings. Characteristics and arrangement of facilities for laying cable lines. Technology of laying cables in earthen trenches, cable structures and production premises. Overhead power lines Designation and construction of overhead power lines. Designation and structural implementation of SSIC Basic principles of operating overhead power lines. Complete distribution charters (CDC) Designation and structural implementation of complete distribution statutes. Types of circuit breakers. Operation and supervision of CDC. Complete transformer substations (CTS) Designation and construction of complete transformer substations. Types of CTS. Operation and supervision of CTS. Distribution boards and cabinets Purpose and construction of switchboards and cabinets Types, operation and supervision of switchboards and cabinets. Grounding devices of PSS electrical installations Purpose of grounding devices of electrical installations. Basic definitions. Design implementation of grounding devices of electrical installations.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of monitoring students' learning results in the process of current and semester controls: oral survey, written answers to questions, written assignments.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • written reports of the clearing work, oral (30%); • final control – test, the results of this monitoring (70%).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
