Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying an academic discipline is to form the necessary skills in students competences, their acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical abilities and skills within the limits of this disciplines sufficient in combination with others for successful professional performance responsibilities in this specialty and preparation for further study in the chosen one specialization
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of education seekers competencies: general competences: 5 ? the ability to analyze and synthesize (KZ4); ? ability to apply knowledge in practice (KZ5); ? the ability to search and analyze information from various sources (KZ6); ? the ability to solve tasks and make appropriate decisions (KZ9); ? potential for further training (KZ15); professional competences: ? basic knowledge of scientific concepts, theories and methods necessary for understanding principles of operation and functional purpose of electric power, electrotechnical and electromechanical systems and their equipment (KS1); ? ability to apply and integrate knowledge and understanding of other engineering disciplines (KS7); ? the ability to use knowledge and skills for calculation, research, choice, implementation, repair, and design of electric power, electrical engineering and electromechanical systems and their components (KS11); ? the ability to argue the choice of methods for solving specialized problems is critical evaluate the obtained results and defend the adopted decisions (CO15).
Learning outcomes: • ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge in at least one of the areas of power engineering, electrical engineering and electromechanics, namely: electrical engineering systems; • ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills in experiments, data collection and simulation in electrical, electrical and electromechanical systems; • ability to demonstrate knowledge of the current state of affairs and the latest technologies in the field of electric power engineering, electrical engineering and electromechanics; • the ability to apply knowledge and understanding to solve problems of synthesis and analysis in systems that are characteristic of the chosen specialization; • ability to apply knowledge of technical characteristics, design features, designation and rules of operation of equipment and equipment for solving technical problems of specialty; • the ability to identify, classify and describe the work of systems and their components; • ability to carry out relevant experimental research and apply research skills in professional subjects.

Summary of the subject: Concepts of modes of power supply systems and their methods are considered calculations The most important problems of non-sinusoidal, non-symmetric and sharply changing regimes, as well as the procedure for calculating their main indicators. Features of reactive power compensation in systems are given power supply of load nodes. Issues of influence of regimes are considered power supply systems on the quality of electrical energy.
Опис: Concept of modes of electric supply systems and methods of their calculations. Non-sinusoidal modes of power supply systems. Asymmetrical modes of power supply systems. Modes of power supply systems with a sharply variable load. Influence of powerful asynchronous and synchronous loading on modes of power supply systems and features of compensation of reactive power. Influence of modes of electricity supply on the quality of electric energy and its loss.
Assessment methods and criteria: Defense of reports on laboratory work, defense of RGR (KR), exam.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • written reports on laboratory works, oral questioning (26%), cash-graphic work (14%); • final control (control measure – exam): written and oral form (60%).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
