Learning outcomes: • Know Design and technological features of the main heating equipment; • Know modern technology design nuclear thermal power equipment; • Know the methods and forms of operational dispatch management process; • Be able to assemble and build thermo equipment to start, operate and stop the reactor and turbine installation; • Be able to investigate in relation to the master's thesis and the design of the systems of nuclear power plants; • Be able to analyze existing processes convert fuel energy into heat and electricity, to conduct a comparative assessment of production before and after the implementation of measures.
Required prior and related subjects: • Nuclear power plants; • Nuclear power plant turbines; • Heat exchangers of nuclear power plants; • Nuclear power plant steam generators.
Summary of the subject: Protection of master's qualifying takes place at a meeting of the Examination Commission, and has a public character. To disclose the content of the student is allowed a maximum of 20 minutes. After the report student answers the questions of the Examination Commission. Questions may include topics like work and be shared. Protection of theses evaluated on a scale of ECTS and translated into the national scale. Results are announced on the same day. Student, defended the work, the decision of the commission assigned to appropriate education level - master's of Nuclear Power Engineering - and the document on higher education.
