Learning outcomes: • Know Design and technological features of the main heating equipment; • Know modern technology design nuclear thermal power equipment; • Know the methods and forms of operational dispatch management process; • Be able to assemble and build thermo equipment to start, operate and stop the reactor and turbine installation; • Be able to investigate in relation to the master's thesis and the design of the systems of nuclear power plants; • Be able to analyze existing processes convert fuel energy into heat and electricity, to conduct a comparative assessment of production before and after the implementation of measures.
Required prior and related subjects: • Non-stationary processes in nuclear reactors; • Operation of nuclear power plants.
Summary of the subject: Nuclear power plants, nuclear power facilities, nuclear power plant turbines, thermal schemes of nuclear power plants, operation of nuclear power plants.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Protection of master's qualification work at a meeting of the State Certification Commission for the Protection diploma.
