Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competences in students of education: general competences: ZK1: knowledge of special sections of mathematics, to the extent necessary for mastering professionally oriented disciplines of the specialty; ZK2: ability to analyze and synthesize; ZK3: the ability to search, analyze and critically evaluate information from various sources; ZK7: creativity, ability to system thinking; ZK10: responsibility for the quality of the work performed; ZK 11: initiative and entrepreneurial spirit. professional competences: FK2: the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts, theories and methods necessary to solve the problems of the synthesis of heat energy systems for controlling technological processes; FK4: the ability to choose optimization parameters, a method and an algorithm for optimizing a heat energy system for a specific task; FK5: the ability to use information and communication technologies, graphic editors and computer integrated environments for modeling and solving optimization problems of engineering activities; FK6: the ability to know and understand modern technologies of processes and systems of technological preparation of production, technical characteristics, design features, purpose and rules of operation of thermal power equipment; FK8: the ability to integrate knowledge from other disciplines, apply a systematic approach and take into account non-technical aspects when solving engineering problems and conducting research; FK9: the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of applied technical solutions and tools, feasibility and the possibility of applying new methods and technologies in the tasks of synthesizing control systems; critically evaluate the obtained results and defend the decisions made
Learning outcomes: - To know the heat power engineering technology of designing facilities. - To know the method of calculation of thermal schemes, parameter optimization and selection of thermal power generating equipment. - Be able to draw design and estimate documentation for objects of power system in accordance with the regulations. - Be able to calculate the thermal circuits and choose equipment; - Be able to calculate heat using equipment.

Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on practical works, oral questioning (30%) • final control (control measure - exam): written and oral form (70%)

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: oints for current and exam control are assigned as a percentage of the maximum score for the educational material of the component based on the following criteria for evaluating the student's knowledge and skills.
