Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline "Environmental Ecology" is to acquire fundamental knowledge and practical skills in ecological assessment of natural and anthropogenic impact on the environment.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of education seekers competencies: general competences: INT. Ability to solve complex specialized problems and solve practical ones problems of a technical and technological nature in the field of ecology, environmental protection, balanced nature management, or the learning process, which involves the application of theoretical foundations and methods of technology environmental protection, and is characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions. Strive to preserve the environment and ensure sustainable development of society. professional competences: FK1 Ability to substantiate, select, calculate, design, modify, prepare for work and use modern technology and equipment for protection and rational use of air and water environments, land resources, waste management. KOM1 Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian language and one of the foreign languages; KOM2 Ability to use various methods, in particular information technologies, for effective communication on professional and social levels. AiB1. Ability to adapt to new situations and make decisions; AiB2. Ability to recognize the need for lifelong learning with a purpose deepening of acquired and acquisition of new professional knowledge; AiB3. The ability to take responsibility for the work performed and achieve the set goals in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PR01. Know modern theories, approaches, principles of environmental policy, fundamental provisions of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, biotechnology and professional and applied engineering and technological disciplines for modeling and solving specific nature protection tasks in production sphere. Assessment methods and criteria: Assessment of the knowledge of students in the academic discipline is carried out on the basis of results of current and final controls. Current control (40%) is carried out during classes: performance practical works; protection of reports on practical classes. Final control (60%) is carried out during the exam: written component (50%); oral component (10%).

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
