Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the discipline "Municipal Waste Recycling Technologies" is to provide future specialists with the knowledge and skills necessary to solve engineering problems, to make correct design and technological decisions, and to successfully perform their functional duties in the future. Therefore, the main goal of the educational subject is to master the basics of modern municipal waste recycling technologies.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: IC01. The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and solve practical problems of a technical and technological nature in the field of ecology, environmental protection, balanced nature management, or in the learning process, which involves the application of theoretical foundations and methods of environmental protection technologies, and is characterized by the complexity and complexity of conditions; ZK02. Knowledge of the subject area of ??higher mathematics, physics, chemistry with the basics of biogeochemistry, biology, their critical understanding for professional activity; ZK04. Skills in using information and communication technologies; ZK05. Ability to make informed decisions; ZK06. Ability to develop and manage projects. ZK07. The ability to substantiate, select, calculate, design, modify, prepare for work and use modern machinery and equipment for the protection and rational use of air and water environments, land resources, waste management; FK03. The ability to conduct observations and instrumental and laboratory control of the environment, the influence of external factors on it, with the selection of samples (samples) of natural components; FK04. The ability to control the pollution of the air basin, water bodies, soil cover and geological environment; FK06.Ability to design environmental protection systems and technologies and ensure their functioning. FK09. The ability to assess the impact of industrial facilities and other objects of economic activity on the environment. FCS2.3. Ability to use knowledge and skills for calculation, research, selection, implementation and design of gas purification, water purification, reclamation technologies, systems and equipment; FCS2.4. The ability to identify, classify and describe the operation of environmental protection technologies through analytical methods and modeling methods.
Learning outcomes: PR01. To know modern theories, approaches, principles of environmental policy, fundamental provisions of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, biotechnology and professional and applied engineering-technological disciplines for modeling and solving specific environmental problems in the production sphere. PR05. Be able to develop projects for environmental protection activities and manage complex actions for their implementation. PR08. Be able to demonstrate the skills of choosing, planning, designing and calculating the operating parameters of certain types of equipment, equipment and technologies for environmental protection, using knowledge of the physical and chemical properties of pollutants, parameters of technological processes and regulatory indicators of the environment. PR14. Be able to justify the degree of compliance of existing or predicted environmental conditions with the task of protecting, preserving and restoring the environment.

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Municipal Waste Recycling Technologies" studies the essence of waste processing and disposal processes, in particular, waste classification, the legislative and regulatory framework of waste management. As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: know the main types of solid industrial waste generated in Ukraine, their volumes; to know the peculiarities of storage, processing or disposal, the impact on the environment, modern approaches to the organization of their disposal; to know the main directions of disposal of the main types of industrial and household waste; to be able to determine the main parameters of waste accumulation, to be able to choose the technology of their disposal; be able to calculate the concentration of harmful substances, analyze the components of waste; to be able to determine possible ways of using waste as a secondary (or potential secondary) material resource.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
